I just picked up a set of Callaway X Tours (they are forged) on ebay for under $400, I thought that was a great deal, and i LOVE them. I have always been a fan of callaway products especially what they have done with irons. These are the perfect upgrade from my old x-14 pro series.

Worth a shot for you I think. They were circa 1200$ when they first came out.

Take your time. think about down thew road. Look at all threads on this forum. I would not have bought a full set. a lot of people toss the longer irons out-2,3,4,&maybe; 6. spend you money on hybrids. Or at least clubs you will use. heck most have more than one wedge. It's hard to figure out, I bought a whole set (slingshots) and now I realizing hybrids are a Key component to a satisfying golf game. Oh and check out ebay.

Try the Srixon 701's, they're very forgiving. or the Mizuno MX-25

the i-701 and MX-25 look like they'd be similar. How would you compare the 2?
