I've been Playing (at) Golf for: 2 months

My current handicap index or average score is: unknown

My typical ball flight is: "ok?"

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: just looking for better consistency, although a push fade seems to be the shot du jour.

Background: I'm a brand new player. I've only been to a 18 hole course once, but instead have been hacking away at the driving range and cow pasture 9 hole just to get acquainted with the game. Right now, I'm studying Manuel de la Torre's methods, but would like some other feedback from a more traditional stand point.

Welcome to the Sand Trap @dvorak01 !.  Pretty decent swing for only 2 months.  I would recommend looking at this thread to start.

A lot of work goes to becoming more consistent.  But understanding the keys to a good swing is a good starting point.  Also learning how to practice is important.  Check out this thread
