Every year there are debates about starting QB's.  We sit in our chairs and coach trying to make changes from our living rooms... but the real coaches don't listen!!!  I'll start the conversation with RG III since I'm a Skins fan (or the team to be named later lol)...

Let's look at the numbers. Please keep in mind this is just to bring some perspective back since it seems like the majority of people say that Cousins should be the starter. (I think Cousins is a good QB and should have started last year)... But let's really look at Cousins vs. RG III...

Cousins:
56% completion percentage... 8 TD, 10 INT (4 TD, 7 INT last year) Passer Rating of 68.6 - Average offense per game just over 165 yards per game...

Griffin III:
62.6 % Completion percentage.... 36 TD, 17 Pics (43 total TD, 17 Int, 23 total turnovers including fumbles) (16 TD's, 12 Int's last year) Passer Rating of 91.5 - Average offense per game 275 yards per game...

Keep in mind the Skins had the WORST starting field position in the NFL last year, and one of the worst defenses which means we played from behind the whole season... (Russell Wilson & Andrew Luck would have struggled under those circumstances last year)

No he isn't the same, but don't crucify the kid yet.. Set NFL rookie records for passer rating 102, and lowest percentage of passes intercepted 1.23%. Led skins to first division title since 99' (as a rookie).....

No he doesn't look like the same QB- but I don't think we can judge him so harshly based on last year and a preseason...  That said, JJ Watt, Clowney, Cushing- this weekend are scary for any QB!

    • Day 2 (20 Jan 26) - Similar work as yesterday - started with lead hand solo drills with the 50°, followed by series of pitches and chips utilizing full setup.
    • Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.
    • Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.
    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
