Congrats. Just like most of you I'm still waiting. I had one land about a foot right of the hole, exactly pin high, on Sunday and spin back over 10' to the front of the green. I rarely back the ball up more than a foot. The only other one really close this year hit half way up the flag but ended up about 10' past the hole. I've had a bunch of close calls in the past 5 years. I can only hope that it will be soon. Well, not too soon. I need to send my Visa payment in first.

my father has been playing golf for 70 years and has never had one. My unathletic mother started golfing in her late 50's, and got one in her second year.
I was 2 inches away yesterday...so close i could taste it!

Enjoy it!!! I got my first when I was 19 (am now 38, so half a lifetime ago for me ) and haven't had one since! I've come withing one roll of the ball a couple of times since, but no such luck. I was playing with my retired Grandpa at about 7 in the morning when I got my first, so it wasn't hard on the pocket book; I treated the old boys to coffee and sodas

Congrats, I also am waiting for my first one. But last week i was extremely close. I hit 8 iron on a par 3, landed it half a foot by the hole, rolled it back a foot, and it rolled right by the lip.
