I believe I have finally figured out the grip! And I can tell a difference when it’s not right. I’d like to thank Erik for all of his patience and my supporters @GolfLug & @boogielicious for being there in my low spots. Of course, my wife & kids for the hours spent watching me grip a club incorrectly, quietly mocking me but not out loud. -

There's no such thing as the spirit of the rule. And, you do realize how insanely small the time window and the level of water is for water to come up with one person standing there but not another person, right? It's basically never going to actually happen like that. There are lots of rules like this: a 7' tall person's knee height drop is from higher up than a 4' tall junior's drop. Yes, a ball going faster will go farther… but it's nearly impossible for "all other parameters" to remain the same.
