Winner is ALahiri of India, in his first Euro tour win, shooting 62 on day 3 and 68 on day 4 to finish at -16.  He may be the first Indian to win on Euro tour. With win Lahiri moves up in world ranking and is now eligible for Masters Tourney

BWeisberger was 5 clear beginning of round 4 but lost it in the end as Lahiri kept rolling putts for birdies.  Many nearby over par for day, including LWestwood.

Top American was PPeterson, a total unknown to me, but this is his first payday, at least this year.  He's 27 years old, shot -11 for tourney.

And again-------how does Dan fit into the golfing world? He plans to leapfrog all of these great players and walk onto the PGA Tour in a couple of years.

Lots of talent out there. Lots of names most of us don't know.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Definitely not the first Indian to win. Jeev Milka Singh got a couple of (big) wins. Very good result from Lahiri nevertheless.

    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
    • Let's kick off the 2026 Masters talk with… a look back at 2025 (coming soon):
    • Wow, so Europe named Luke for a third term. Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Who will the U.S. name? I hope not Tiger Woods.
    • I am playing Arrowhead for the first time and I am pumped.  What are some things that I need to make sure and appreciate, for those that have played it before and love it? It has been a pretty dry winter so I am expecting rough to be forgiving which is nice and it will be playing much easier than it does in the late summer (I am assuming based on other colorado courses).  What should I make sure to not miss?
