2016 U.S. Open ticket question - Weekly Badge vs. Weekly Ticket?

Looking to buy 2016 Open tickets. I was curious as what the difference between the Weekly Badge and The weekly ticket package ? The weekly badge is 50$ cheaper.

I see the $50 difference.


I think the difference is that the badge is a badge, as in just the one. The tickets can be individually gifted, sold, etc. That's why they cost extra - you can sell a ticket or "break it up" while the badge option just gets you a single "weekly" badge.
