New Season, new problem?

I'm starting to play more golf now that the snowbirds are gone and I have more time. I have noticed over the past few years that I end up sucking at some new aspect of game during the next season. So far this year, it appears that my driving is not going well. Last year I couldn't chip or pitch it anywhere close. The year before that, I hit my irons crappy. I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else. Usually I end on working on that part of my game and get it going good but then it's usually time to put the clubs away for the winter and I start with a new weakness the next season.

My bag:

Taylor Made R7 (x-stiff).
Taylor Made Burner 2 irons (stiff)
Cleveland Wedges (gap and 60)
Odyssey two ball putter (white)

Sounds like it's time to move somewhere that has a year round golf season ;) Edit - I see you're in Tampa, why not play year round?
