Playing golf for: 1 year typical ball path height: Medium The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Slice! This is a template for a new "My Swing" thread. Hey guys! I've just recently gotten into golf. I played a few times last year, but this summer I've really gotten into it ( 3 times a week, shooting around 84). I've played baseball my entire life and am trying to transition over to golf. If I don't hit the ball dead straight or mishit it, it will always curve right after about 100-125 yards. For the most part it's a medium flight path, Occasionally i will have a low drives that have a hop-up effect almost. I'm not sure what's better? I'll hit it anywhere from 175-250 on really what feels like the same swing, hahaha Unfortunately just one video right now i will upload and will take more today and upload when I get back from the course. I've essentially youtubed all my knowledge of swing mechanics and really could use any and all tips and help I can get! Haha And if you live in upstate ny maybe we'll end up on the course! Medium The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Slice! Videos:

@OaklandAs248 : :

The camera moves a bit (the dot on the ball), but nowhere near that much.

Ok I'm definitely going to keep my head still and my feet slightly winged. I think that will help my hip slide for sure.

I'd also do the drill in the thread and practice with the right hip next to a chair at home. Changing the pivot is probably going to require more than feeling your head stay steady.

It makes it really hard for me to get my body torqued

 I swung 100% on these two while focusing on the head movement and hip slide. I really want to hit the range! Haha I will embed my videos with the tag in the future.

It's easy, it's just a set-up adjustment, just do it ;-)

I swung 100% on these two while focusing on the head movement and hip slide. I really want to hit the range! Haha

I will embed my videos with the tag in the future.

Again, I think it would be better to focus on the movement of the hips on the backswing.

Yes please do a better job with the videos.

man that chair drill is really helping! thank you sir, although it feels the club head is moving less distance i can tell its way more consistent.

Right now i'm working with a (VERY) used driver, callaway steelhead irons and a 60 wedge. If anyone has any recommendations for the callaway used/ pre-owned clubs I'm in the dark about shaft stiffness/ what head to buy. I'm definitely replacing my whole bag/ adding a few wedges at the end of the season when the prices drop a tad.

Right now I'm using my clubs as the excuse I'm bad ;) (joking hahah)
