After reading through the Blade vs Mallet putter thread I became interested in learning what sort of shaft people prefer on their putters. I personally find the offset bended shaft annoying to look at... but do they perform really well? Is it something you just get used to?

I really like blade-style putters with a bent shaft but no offset. These are getting pretty difficult to find; I used to like the look of the old Ping Zing and the Ping G2 ZSB. I just tried out the Odyssey Marxman Mallet and really liked it but its awfully expensive. Since I'm already on the subject and need a new putter... any suggestions based upon the above criteria?

had full offset with white hot 2 ball and scotty newport 1 but have gone for 1/3 offset with the Imola 8 by TM - feel more in control of the ball from 10 feet, and holing more putts. It may not be the new offsettedness but i like it so far.
