I suggest you read the recent reviews on YELP about this company.  The customers, other than the pros, are not happy.  I personally would not endorse such a company.  In fact, I am trying to let the buyer beware.  For your consideration.  Thank you.

Here’s my review:
i placed 3 orders:

one was promised to be shipped in 2 days, never sent, now awaiting refund over 60 days.
2 custom orders never sent, although promised in writing and on phone.  sill awaiting refund after 60 days.
unprofessional, untruthful, in my opinion.

let the buyer beware!!!

the owe me $350 and are unresponsive to over 5 emails this week alone.

automated responses to email, but they take more than one week to respond, and many times never respond.

looking at the other recent reviews about this company seem to have the same negative trend, poor quality and poor customer service.

i have purchased several garments, they look good in the beginning, but the colors fade quickly.

the workmanship in my opinion is below average, and something you would see at a bargain basement type store, just my opinion again.

even bert does not respond to contacts.

phone calls to their 2 numbers are rarely answered, bert refuses to answer calls.

i paid by paypal, but they used another service to receive payment, but say they cannot refund via that service & paypal, let you wait for a check to be sent in the mail, the check has yet to arrive.

i am reporting them to the ca better business bureau.

does anyone know if there ar other resources to report this company to???

Your State Attorney General, or maybe the CA Attorney General if they are taking money and not returning it.

Sorry about your troubles.

I heard Iliac was building a factory and that was the cause of their troubles besides poor management - nice styles but you've got to manage the business.

I've purchased several Iliac headcovers over the last 4 years, great covers, visited Carlsbad and found sale items in their "store," but after hearing these reports, went to Cru Golf, which I discovered was down the street from me in Southlake, TX (about 10 minutes west of DFW Airport), and they were emailing me a custom design within a day. That is improvement.

Just had my first, ( and last ), experience with Iliac.  Ordered a "Ready to Ship; alignment stick cover in Italian Red Croc.  Never received any communication from them.  Emailed them a week later and some guy told me they did receive my order and it would ship in 3 weeks when completed.  Ordered end of July.  Received a shipping notice on 8/28 that it was shipping that day.  Order was finally shipped on 9/3.  Received it on 9/8.  The worst customer service I have ever received.  If they would have been honest from the get go I would have been fine.  But damn, don't lie to your customers !  Business 101 ?  Needless to say, that was my last order.  Bad thing is, they have awesome products.  Cover is great, but the lack of service is terrible and not worth the hassle.  Now I hear they are opening up a second location ?  Really ?

Bert Lamar finally communicated with me.  He apologized for the poor service.  Said refund would be sent (the big question is when???), I then asked for paypal refund (no response yet)

He offered to fulfill the 3 orders, I declined, as they have been pending since JULY, and he did not indicate how much longer I would have to wait.

So the sage continues.
