If the driver shaft that is cut from the butt to be inserted in fairway wood has the same strength?

For the second time, at the driving range after the golf course. I went to practice my clubs until the driver. I was getting great drives then until one drive i whacked so fast then i fell back as in lost control, it hit the mat and skimmed. I saw metalic flashes under the driver head. Same story as very upward strike.

This is just the driver sparking against whatever pebbles were sitting on the mat. Your shaft should be fine in both cases, since they're pretty durable. In most cases where there is a problem, it becomes very immediately evident in that your clubhead will snap straight off. Since that didn't happen to you and you cannot see/feel any damage, it ought to be just fine.
