Best fairway woods under £60?

Hi,

I have recently learnt how to hit my woods properly (off of the fairway and tee) and I was just wondering what would be the best fairway woods to buy that are under £60. I would want them with shallow faces so that they would be easy to hit off of the fairway. I saw a Benross v6 5 wood for £40 but I could not seem to find any reviews so I held off buying them. Please also suggest some that are a few years old so that I could have a look on ebay.

N.b £1 = $2 roughly.

Try the Taylor Made rescue fairways. Really nice clubs.

What is the different between taylormades rescue clubs and the actual fairway woods made by them? are they the same thing or is there a difference.

MacGregor MacTec NVG woods can be had at rediculously low prices on Ebay now. As can the Adams Insight BUL's. Can't go wrong with either.

Don't know the exchange rate stuff but Rock Bottom has the Titliest 904 on sale for under 120.00 US which is a good deal.

cheers guys, I will take a look.

I did look at rockbottom but they are only i the us and they said that buying a club from the states can cosst £50 ($100) to ship so that racks up the prices rediculously.

The rescue mids, which i have, are a true hybrid. THe fairways are a traditional fairway wood. Heres some pics.

you can get the taylormade r5 dual for about 80 american dollars at the highest on ebay. You can also get the 904f for about the same price on ebay.

      Thanks for the advice, it’s true golf is hard and frustrating. My country club have practice facilites that arent the best that’s why is hard to go practice and get better. The range gets very windy the chipping green is horrible and the putting green is okay but not fun to practice for hours bc it’s pretty slow. I love practicing if I’m in a good range and facility I can stay there for hours. But my country clubs practice area is not the best.       Day 474 - 2026-01-17 Stayed after Junior Elite and some Skillest lessons while listening to some TAS and hitting some six-irons. Mostly still backswing, with a little bit of downswing stuff. Probably did it like 10% of what I need. 😄

      Day 157 1-17 16 degrees outside so i did some pause/arch wrist stuff inside. Getting the arm reconnecting part better,  still don't feel like im arching enough. Hit foam balls.
