Adding strength for golf

I have been doing some research. It looks like antagonistic training, chest follwed by back etc and some degree of cycling is recommended. In the first part of the offseason a few more reps 10-12 3+ sets at lower weights, with possible extra sets to build indurance then heavier weights for the next period, 6-8 reps, 3 sets, finally medium weights with 8-10 reps, 3 sets for the final period trying to emphasize speed. About 4 weeks in each cycle with some variety in type of exercises. Lat pulldowns one time and pushdowns the next etc. Techniques such as supersetting appear to be counter productive for golf. This appears to maximize the type of power needed for golf.
