What are some good golf courses near Cocoa beach Florida

I'm headed down to Cocoa beach next Friday. I have a buddy that lives there I was going to visit and get some rounds in. Due a family medical emergency, he will not be in town. Does anyone have any recommendations on municipal courses in the area?

Not a muni, but Venetian Bay is about an hour up the road, and is a fun track.

Turtle Creek is a little closer option, but I haven't played it in a long time, so I can't speak to current conditions.

There are others, but those are the only 2 I'm personally familiar with.

For convenience, can't beat Cocoa Beach Country Club right off the Minuteman Causeway.

And I haven't been there yet, but Duran in Viera seems worth a look, about a half hour away.

  • Cocoa Beach Country Club

  • Viera East Golf Club

  • The Savannahs Golf Course
