All, I am an occasional (3-4x/mo) golfer, about to retire and golf more. I am looking at some of the discount  sites at TM Aeroburner clubs - looks like  I can put a full set together for about $1000.

Would appreciate input on price, clubs, whatever.

Thanks!

If you're getting ready to increase your golfing, consider getting fitted for your new clubs.

The discount sites will sell you clubs, but you don't get to test-hit them first.

If you have golf shops in the area, consider a fitting. You don't have to buy all the clubs at once. Also, better golf shops have good used clubs they got on trade-in, and want to send them back out the door so they can get their $$ back.

Sometime you can find a used set that fits your swing with  minor tweaks.

Congrats on your retirement. I'll be a couple of years behind you in that area. :-(
