Hey everyone! I've been lurking around here since april when i first started googling about golf stuff. I finally got a friend to get my swing on camera and I decided to try and see if someone here wanted to give me some feedback. I havent had any lessons, just been trying to learn from youtube. I am noticing that I seem to be straightening my right leg in the backswing? I also bend my wrists alot? Since I basically have no idea what I am doing I have just kept doing what I thought was working based on my shots. I switched from doing the interlock grip to the overlap one and I like it better right now, feels like I have a better backswing with it and more control of my own grip.

Any thoughts about my swing would be greatly appreciated. A few tips about where to start or some drills that I seem to need to do would be golden!

I've been Playing Golf for: 3 months (since the last day of march)
My current handicap index or average score is: 31
My typical ball flight is: I think i have a draw with my irons. Not sure though. I try to him them straight!
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: The sudden slice or hook, thin, fat. Everything I guess since Im new.

Welcome to The Sand Trap and thanks for posting. Try and post a down the line video where the camera points down your toe line.

That being said, you may have some improvement with a little shorter backswing. Your hip turn looks pretty centered until the very top. Then you seem to over reach a bit. Check out the thread below.
