Sun mountain speed e cart

Looking for your 2 cents.

I got a Speed E Cart with a set of used clubs I got for my wife.  It has no batteries, but rolls really nice, has all the accessories. Not sure if it works. Not sure I wanna drop 80ish buck to find out. Any thought on testing or should I just use it as a push cart? Or toss it with the clubs my wife said no she has no interest in playing. To bad thought they are a complete set of Jack Nicklaus aides clubs older but in great shape. So tell me your thoughts. I'm not overly techie so dumb down Igbo possible any testing tips lol. Thanks. Todd

I think you have two legit options:

  • Sell it to someone else. They were rather expensive. Use the money to buy one or two regular push carts from Sun Mountain.
  • Buy a battery from a place that will let you return it the same day if it doesn't work.

With the gearing and stuff in the front, I'd be surprised if it rolls that well, and it's got extra wires and is heavier than a standard push cart would be.

Do you think just in general it's worth anything not knowing if it works? And it rolls as nicely for having that fat front tire and all. Wonder what one in unknown condition would go for eBay wise
