would having a incorrect lie angle cause a massice lose in distance becasue iv been hitting all my shots with the club hitting the heal rathing than the bottem of the club.
does n e one no how much it would cost tog et my lie angles fixed

i know an incorrect lie angle can cause problems with the directon in which you hit the ball, and distance. Also, if you are hitting it off the toe; that definitely takes off distance.

It may not be the lie angle but your swing, get them both checked by a pro.

This is no cost and might tell you something. Go some place where you can hit balls. Set the club on the ground the way it's designed before you grip it. Keep the club in that position and then place yourself around it. [That's a practice rule for me]. You may see the toe go up in the air after you grip it and take your stance. If that happens, it could be your set-up or the club. If your club stays in the original position and you beach the heel, it's probably in your swing. I always like the suggestion about going to a pro but we cannot always afford that.

Most golf shops will check a club or two for nothing. Thats not getting it fixed just letting you know if you need them fixed. going price seems to be 3-5 dollars each.
