Hi,

i have just won an auction on eBay for some new cobra oversize irons 5-Sw, I won the auction with a bid of £280, this is before I realised that some unscrupulous people sell fake clubs on eBay, has anyone had any previous experience of buying clubs from eBay and can give me any pointers to look out for when they arrive to make sure they are the real deal? Just started playing this summer with borrowed clubs so this was my first foray into upgrading my equipment I’m hoping it hasn’t been a bad move!

thanks in advance

I have bought clubs on eBay. Check the reputation of the seller and whether you can return the item. EBay will arbitrate if that's the right word any dispute. Anyway when you get the clubs make sure they are all the same serial number and then register them with Cobra. Or contact Cobra and find out if they serial numbers are legit. I have really had no problems. I just make sure I do those things. Good luck, - Marv
