I may visit a McDonalds once a year.  While in the city of Porto, Portugal, I was intrigued by the Portuguese spin on McDonalds.  At first, it looked like a typical outdoor café, other than the "M" adorning various surfaces.  At closer look, it was a McDonalds!  I and a bus load of Asian tourists spent a few minutes snapping photos of the interior, complete with food ordering "ATM's", crystal chandeliers, stained glass & mirrors and a local menu that included a sandwich called a "Miami".

I went to a McDonald's in Paris when I was 18 just so I could order a beer (a Heineken). That way I could say I ordered a beer in a McDonald's (I've also gotten a cheeseburger at a Chick-Fil-A). I think I took a sip and threw it away.

Yes, they had a beer tap next to the Coke and root beer dispenser.
