Amen. So true. Compound movements build the foundation that make you functionally strong and powerful in all endeavors.

++1 for Orange County Panther Lake and Crooked Cat. Played there in Sept 2012 a reasonable rate.

Thank you very much for the advice. I will work on that and hopefully report back with some good results. Very impressed with all the efforts to assist here.

I now see my videos.

1. Consistency. More repeatable swing with ball first contact and elimination of push/slice. 2. Not sure. I want a way to swing with less to think about. I tinker too much with methods and equipment.

Not sure if I did this correctly. I tried to find a way to copy and paste my swing from vimeo. Please scold and educate if you must. Thanks. Down the line view here.

I have been reading and viewing many of the videos that you guys offer advise on. I would love a little of that for me. In the videos I have posted I am trying some things that may or may not be advisable or good for me. Keeping my front foot flat on the ground, ball forward in stance, more even stance, takeaway with shoulders. All things I don't normally do. This was an indoor session during a long winter of not playing or hitting balls. Please feel free to critique. I've been Playing Golf for: 10 years My current handicap index or average score is: 86-88 My typical ball flight is: High The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push/fade Videos:

Arrogant no. Needs more time to convey that much of an attitude. Brash and confident yes. Might be what we need. I love Phil and Tiger is Tiger but they are on the back nine of their careers. There are many young, talented players out there now but they don't always show the mettle to consistently win and battle the likes of McDowell and Poulter in Ryder Cup play. If he continues like this he may be the one to watch and root for.

Medicus Hinged Club - Does it work?
mpb1472 replied to antney79's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I had the 5 iron years ago. My feeling that it surely will work if you let it work at a slow tempo. For me it made me use a slower tempo than what I naturally use. I could not be as consistent that way, so got rid of it. -

Very interested to read this study. I work in PT and am a front foot spinner of sorts but I like to keep it square at address. Able to stay down and through longer with a quicker release. Flared I tend to open up too soon and don't release the club in time. As you noted, it is not always a swing flaw.

My wife and I recently have seen Anchorman II and Lone Survivor. Two extremes of scoring here. Anchorman II-gets a double bogey, snowman or an X-out. We walked out in the middle of it cause it was so bad. Vulgar, filthy, poorly acted garbage. Lone Survivor-Wow! Scores an ace for me.What a great film. Gripping and we were just so moved by the courage of our Navy Seals.

Myth of Maintaining Your Address Flex in the Rear Knee

I have found the foot flare threads and read your posts. Look forward to reading and learning more from you in 2014. Thanks. -
Myth of Maintaining Your Address Flex in the Rear Knee
mpb1472 replied to mvmac's topic in Swing Thoughts
This thread has been very informative. It is so much easier to turn deeper into my backswing when I straighten my leg. The increase in right foot flare also advocated makes it work even better. Your explanation with the anatomy pictures really makes it more logical. Where can I read and see more of your teaching? I want to see and read the thread on foot flare too. Thanks for your contributions here. -
The Greatest Game Ever Played. The Rocky of golf movies. Love it!

A couple buddies followed her in a tournament at Newport RI a few years back. They remarked how pretty she was and even better how nice she was to the fans around her. My buds even caught a smile and some nice words. I wish her all the best.

Thanks. Merry Christmas .

Beautiful. What model of cally are they?

Those callaway irons are beautiful. As pretty as my bridgestone j38 DPC irons. What is the model?

Phil Mickelson. No one thrills me more.
-
Phil Mickelson. Never ceases to amaze me at his best or worst. Always exciting, going for it all the time.He has a highlight reel of shots that we will watch for years. I like the way he handles himself with the media and fans. Signs autographs for hours, takes young players under his wing, takes care of caddies, etc.. So many reasons make this guy the one I root for the most. Graehme McDowell. Like his confident manner and directness. The Mechanic. Nobody is as cool as this guy. Makes it look like he enjoys golf and life to the fullest.

Should I hit my driver or hybrid off the tee?
mpb1472 replied to DaSportsGuy's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Whatever you hit the straightest. Right now it seems like the hybrid is your fairway finder so stick with that till you iron out your driver issues. What you might also try to do is find the lowest lofted hybrid you can hit straight. Perhaps, you will pick up some yardage too. A driver shootout of sorts may be in your future. I am having one this year due to my inconsistency off the tee. -
Aggressive down swing and smooth back swing
mpb1472 replied to Sai-Jin's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I too have a naturally quick tempo golf swing. Often told too quick at times by well meaning friends. I feel better when I let it go more and not try to take it back slower than normal for me. I agree it is very hard to go back slower and come down faster and be consistent. I just find that I must turn fast and remain more centered for it to work best.
