  1. Mine has to have 14 full length dividers and set up where my clubs are in the order I like (little OCD), separate putter holder, umbrella holder, enough room to fit in raingear and a long sleeve (the weather in cincy is unpredictable), and a cooler. Style and color are big factors as well I don't like anything to plain or ordinary. Just bought the new Titleist lightweight cart bag for christmas.
  2. Um interesting, I wonder if that's how it is here or if its cash prizes. I am a member out at Friendly Meadows. Its a nice course for the price of the membership you cant beat it ($450 for two years). I do play Royal Oaks, Legendary Run, California, from time to time to give myself a little more of a challenge and change of course.
  3. 1. Shoot par or under 2. Break 70 3. No 3 putts all year 4. Bring HC to 2.0-3.0 5. Play more!
  4. 49 degree Cleveland- 125yds full 54 bent to 52 Titleist Vokey- 110-115yds full, play this 3/4 to 1/2 with shots 80-100yds 56 Titleist Vokey- 90 Odd ball club I have had my whole life probably around 58 degree. I use it out of the sand and around the green with tight lies. I love it because of the bounce. I like having a lot of options when attacking a green from 125 and in. My creativity can really shine when I have a lot of options.
  5. I wouldn't worry about the equipment you have. Try to focus on what you have and perfect your swing. A 64 is out of the question IMO, the highest lofted club I have is a 56 and I'm a 7 HC. I just open the face when i need to. Use creativity in your clubs, I think alot of guys forget about this factor and expect that there is one club for each different shot. There are times in a round where I will only use 6 clubs throughout the whole round.
  6. I have the 21 degree hybrid and love it. For not being a top notch golf brand the club performs well. I hit it 230 but can dial it down to 200 easily. I find it extremely easy to shape shots with this club as well. The only downfall is that the shaft is not the best, could be stiffer for my liking. But hey it was free, my grandfather gave me the whole set of hybrids. It is a good club to stick between my 3-wood and 4 iron. I also have and play the 3-wood (250-260yds) same feel. low trajectory soft feel.
  7. I have a Bushnell Neo GPS for $150. It tells me font back and middle to green. Also has any bunkers or hazards, and custom points. I love it for the price I don't need the fancy color touchscreen showing how the entire hole looks (I can see for myself). It has also sped up my game by a lot. Its nice to look down see the yardage, pull a club, and fire. Its pretty small too so it doesn't bother you if you want to keep it in your pocket.
  8. Tried not to go to obvious 1. GPS 2. poker chips (mark my ball) 3. divot repair tool, brush 4. towel 5. oakley case and cloth (I wear my oakleys during every round)
  9. I have a rhino headcover that I had on my driver since I was 5 years old when my dad started me off golfing. Now the rhino is on my 3-wood because it can't fit on my 909 driver. I personally like them golf is fun for me and looking at a goofy headcover helps me relax in a way.
  10. I wear the FJ winter gloves and a beanie. Those are my two biggest things I wear in the cold that I can't go without. I love the gloves, I got a size smaller so that they would fit as tight as a golf glove. I just played in 30 degree weather and my hands were very warm. It helps me feel the club and get a feeling for my shots.
  11. Yea I don't like the up front fee either on top of the $100 to enter each tourny. I'm still in college and still have grad school to go through so money is pretty tight. But if the prize money is good I may take a chance.
  12. Agreed this is what I would do also
  13. most tournys are 2-day (sat & sun)
  14. I think it includes green fees, cart, and range balls
  15. Been thinking about joining for the 2011 season. The price is pretty steep though since each tourny here in cincy looks to be $100. How much fun have you guys had playing in it? What is the prize money like? Worth it?. How many people are on the tour here in cincy
