  1. Yeah well thanks for all the input, I was just going to get one as a way to keep my swing fluid. I can usually tell how the shot went by contact for example with my irons they tell me exactly how I hit the ball. Also, I will still be going to the range once in a while and hitting birdie balls in my yard.
  2. Hey everybody, I'm looking to set up a golf mat and net in my garage to practice throughout the off season, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a golf mat with the cross in the middle to help you align your feet and the lines on the perimeter to line your shot up? It looks like the mat here Thanks any input is appreciated.
  3. This is a very confusing thread haha.
  4. Haha that's funny I thought the same thing... it's gotta be sarcasm. I mean in general everyone is going to say that their clubs are the best because in their view they are the best, or else they wouldn't have them. So like for instance I'm going to say Titleist drivers are the best because I have one. Do I think Titleist drivers are the best? Of course I do, but does that mean that they are the best? Absolutely not, the best clubs are the ones that will give you confidence and that help you play your game the best.
  5. Yeah me too, but these irons offer different styles for a different array of swing types.
  6. Hey everyone today I was at my local golf shop today when the Mizuno van showed up. The guy who runs the shop told me the new line of clubs was coming in soon, and that this guy from Mizuno was showing them to him. So before I left I walked over to the van and he let me look and them and hold them. Here's what I saw The MP-52 These irons are still part of the MP line so they have the players look and feel, but are more forgiving than the MP-57s. They have a kind of CNC Milled cavity which is solid in the high irons and carved out in the low irons for more forgiveness. They are similar to the MX-25s except smaller with a thinner top line and less offset. These irons are between the MX-25s and MP-57s. http://www.mizunousa.com/news.nsf/ge...0?OpenDocument The MP-62 These irons are also part of the MP line, but are a step up from the MP-60s. That means they are more of a blade than the MP-60s offering less offset and a thinner topline. They feel nice and really set up wonderfully, although these clubs are definitely for the better player. These are very nice irons for those players who want to set up from the MP-60s, but not to a full blade yet. These irons are between the MP-60s and MP-67s. http://www.mizunousa.com/news.nsf/ge...2?OpenDocument Keep swinging!
  7. Oh boy your making us all jealous haha.
  8. If your really serious about the game, and dedicated to getting better then try the Mizuno MP-57s. I have them and I love them. They offer the players look and workability and precision of the MP line yet they still have a good amount of forgiveness with a full cavity. Give em a try.
  9. Oh ok I was just wondering because it kinda looks like the taylormade burner in the picture of set up with the face looking closed and the extended back of the club. I think they best club will be the 909 D2 though what do you think?
  10. Yeah what a bummer, I cannot wait to play these. What does FWIW mean?
  11. I really don't play much in the winter since I live in Connecticut, but I go to the range when I can because they have heat radiators. Also, this year I'm thinking about setting up a mat and net in my garage so that I can practice throughout the off season.
  12. Iacas is the 909 DComp like a draw version for higher handicap players?
  13. I usually pay $11 for 18 holes on the weekdays. I get a steal with the junior rates.
  14. Yeah these are really sweet CG01 and anyone else having problems with tangles, I usually just flip the cloth around then use the little plastic piece on top to straighten it out, I really have had no problems with tangles. Right when I take it off it tangles but once I put it back on I can fix it in no time.
  15. I wouldn't say Danny Lee is better than Tiger Woods, but man this guy can really play! I mean even when Kittleson was on his game Danny Lee was just cruising right through him. I gotta give it to him, this guy has got game.
  16. Oh nice the golf is great down there I hear, I wanna visit sometime.
  17. Can't wait to get my hands on the D2, I'm hoping it will out do the 905r Big Time!
  18. Oh wow awesome! I would pick some up, but we don't have any of those stores in New England.
  19. Well tour players launch their drivers really high, and coming in that steep the ball won't get much roll. Also, if they play it with too much roll it is hard to control where their drive will end up.
  20. I would try the V2... its a great shaft that will give you mid launch and they are only $70 a shaft, but you might be able to get a deal if you find a good club fitter. I'm looking to put one of these shafts in my driver as soon as my club fitter gets one in stock.
  21. Where did you grab a sleeve? I heard they don't come out until September 1st
  22. Wow mine is really really similar with I'd like to see yours in person to see how similar it really is. Solid grip.
  23. My cousin goes to Golf Methodist school down there is that anywhere near you?
  24. I agree. I think that the game should be learned from green to tee. Get your putting down because if you can't putt your never going to be able to score. Then work on short chips to full wedges. Go to your irons then finally work your way up to fairway woods and your driver.
  25. Maybe. That would be pretty cool. If not I guess I'm ok with dropping $40 for a dozen. I hear real good stuff about them I'm kinda excited. One reason I like using Bridgestone is that I like supporting companies that aren't as mainstream as Titleist or Callaway, also so many people use Titleist balls that I don't want to get them mixed up even though I mark mine, because it is easier just to know I'm playing a Bridgestone. Also, trying new balls is a lot fun.
