Still seems solid to me... maybe fix your stance a little, but I can't really tell from the angle.
-
Nah... you are right Shindig. Ball marks are the marks on the green and divots are the displaced grass your club makes when hitting the ball.
-
I like them because when the greens are slow I'm more likely to leave one short than leave one long when the greens are fast.

Who knows what really could've happened. Maybe he doesn't even know what happened to himself. It's possible he just had a hot streak for a while, but his average golf can't hold up on tour, and he can't back into that groove he was once in.

this place looks awesome!

At least the people at your course repair their marks! I was out yesterday and found at least 10 ball marks on every green. That left me some work to do.

This is the worst... Today played with 2 people slow as hell. In addition there was another slow group ahead of us, and a fast group behind us. We had to wait on every tee, and on every green the group was waiting on us. Took us 2:45 to play the front!! Luckily those 2 people left and those behind us went home so we played the back in about 1:30 which wasn't bad. Played better on the back also.

Yeah just recently I switched to a more blade of an iron, and the feel is just so much more balanced, and now that I am better I feel like I can shape shots much better.

Hey everyone I am doing a school research project for math class, and I need to know three things from everybody. 1. Age 2. Years Played 3. Handicap If everyone can just fill out these three facts I would greatly appreciate it. Here is mine: 1. 16 2. 8 3. 7.7 Thanks everyone.

Seems real solid... good posture, nice take away, and great follow through, I don't see anything wrong besides your reaction to it... how did it end up?
-
Also if you look at Tiger's swing notice the different angle of his arms at the top of his backswing compared to yours. Also the club shaft is further away from his head while yours is kind of close to your head. Hope this helps... practice makes perfect!
-
Hey as for your swing... I think you have a good fluid swing, but your backswing is WAY too long. This is where a lot of mistakes in the swing can occur because the longer backswing makes more room for error. Try taking half swings at the range, and working your way up until you feel like you are hitting it 100% with a shorter backswing.
-
Awesome. When is this from?
-
Yeah sometimes you will find a ball that has been half-submerged, and you can really see the line between the discoloration and normal ball. Not balls you wanna be using to shoot your best, but make for great practice balls.
-
Usually when I have a day where I hit them really badly, and I can't fix it I will usually take a break for a day or two, and then hit the range after that. Try doing what iacas said and hit half shots until you work it up to a full swing. Other than that don't worry because everyone has bad days, and your usual swing will come back to you soon.
-
Hey you should get a Gary Fisher... I had one for 2 years straight, and it never broke, but then sadly it got stolen. They are great bikes, if you are 5'10" then you should probably get around a 19" frame, but if you go to any mountain bike shop they will size you up for free when you purchase a bike from them.
-
I used to take more gimmes, and move my ball around in the rough when I was like a 20, but now I putt out everything and never move anything unless its in construction area or relief area.
-
I'd rather make every GIR. Putting is putting I could putt great when I was 8 years old. If I could hit every GIR I could probably sink at least 4 birdie putts... with another four 3 putts and the rest 2 putts thats an even round. Not bad at all. What good is sinking a putt that is for bogey or double.

My dad usually gets me some at the beginning of the season maybe like a dozen or two of solos. Then when I start to get better I'll buy a sleeve of NXT Tours or Prov1s. Also, if I find a good ball on the course such a prov1 in good shape I'll tend to use that as much as I can. For some reason I always play well with balls that I find.

Titleist 907D2 vs Pro Titanium 905R.
bflat450 replied to atrapasuenos's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Personally... I really like the 905r due to its workability, solid feel, great balance, and very nice sound (I hate obnoxious sounding drivers *cough* cobra). The UST shaft on the 905r is very nice, and so is the aldila the D2 has. For half the price of the D2 I would go with the 905r because it is almost as good as the D2, and has a great shaft and should work great for you. Save your other $200 on some wedges or a new putter. -
Kinda glad Cirbie went home... don't know how she got there in the first place. Also, couldn't stand how long she took for shots and how she didn't wear shoes. Kinda pissed to see that annoying lady win the 5k. Also glad to see Tina pull it out even though she played poorly. Also, surprised that Kim missed both her shots to the blind green. Can't wait for next week... I love all the big breaks.

I just bought a new 52 degree cleveland CG12 which will arrive at my house on Friday. I still got my 905r and vokey that I love. Got my TA6 irons which are O.K I hit them well, but they have too much cavity... want to move on to better player's irons maybe some mizunos. I need a new 3 wood, and a hybrid which I will eventually buy within the next few months. Also, need a new putter which I'm thinking maybe a YES! Callie.

Wow nice summary... I like the tap in part for 48 feet haha. That truly was an amazing putt... I was praying he would make it. I'm pumped he won this tourney, and want to see him win more this year.
