I played the front nine at a local club and stumbled to a 40... And yeah, I'm going to see if someone can take a look at my swing tomorrow. I just need my game in shape because my team has a legitimate shot at state and we need all 5 of us playing consistently.

I've hit it and I can't get out... How have you guys gotten out of major slumps and regained where your game was?

I work with the guys that ride around in the picker... so yeah, I try to nail them.

That's it. That's my favorite shot to hit... Gapper from anywhere between 100-130... What an awesome club... ...and a right to left breaking putt that drops right in the center.

New Wedge Needed...anyone got experience with them?

Well, if you use your 60° well then you should try out one of the same brand and model. I guess a 56°5 Mizuno MP-R. I've played a Mizuno wedge and I really liked it. Also, other good wedges are the Vokey (SM or not) or the TaylorMade black TP wedges. -
I played in a tournament today shot a nice little 33-40 for a 73. Tied for first after the first day.

Back in my sophomore season of golf, I shot a 31 on nine holes. Par 35. Had eleven putts with a 3 putt resulting in a bogey. The best part was that my friend from my team also shot under par with a 34. We completely routed the other team because we shot -4 as a team.

I played in a Pro-Junior today with my boss and two other juniors... We shot 61 and tied for third but lost in a scorecard playoff... If I were to have played by myself I would have shot under par... 69, 70 perhaps. Probably the best round I've played in my life.

When I pull a shot, I yell: "get left! get left!" ...same with a push. Leaving a putt short: "got the club stuck in your dress?" "got the club stuck in your bra strap?" When you're playing and someone says to you "nice shot!" you say "I know." There's a bunch of them...

Last summer I was playing in a tournament and I was playing at an unbelievable -2 through through 6 at a course that I have shot -4 at. After chipping in for yet another birdie, I was on the next tee, striped a driver and felt a rip in my back. I tried to hit another shot but the pain was terrible. One month with no golf killed my game...

I want pitchers to hit him with a pitch every time he's at the plate to the point where he has to retire. ...and as a Yankees fan, I want A-Rod to break it many years down the road.

I go through putters like crazy but I think I found one that I really like. White Hot 2-Ball to a DFX 2-Ball Belly to a Ping CrazE center shaft to a Dual Force #2 to a Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade... ...and I love it.

I played for the first time in a while today... shot 36 and topped a few drives... I was playing with some buddies and I guess I was trying to impress them... Ugh.

That is what I play and it is a very solid driver. Out of the ones that you listed, though, I would choose the Taylormade R7 460. Lots and lots of bang for the buck. -
If it were up to me, the "perfect swing" would be defined as either Adam Scott or Tiger Woods' swing. They pay extreme attention to the fundamentals of the swing. But I think that the perfect swing (sans quotes) would be one that shoots low scores. Look at Hogan, Furyk, Ryan Moore, Couples... they have "non-perfect" swings that are repeatable and effective.

I read back in the threads for a few pages and didn't see a thread about headcovers. Who all here has unique headcovers that they sport on their clubs? My friend has a bunch that he likes to put on his clubs but I've just got my red octopus on my 4-wood.

I've used both the 2-Ball mallet and blade and I must say that the blade is much better for me , maybe not you. I love the way that the 2-Ball lets you line up and if you like that, try out the other alignment putters like the Craz-E or Guerin Rife Two Bar...

I played yesterday (only noticed this thread today :P) at a nice course down the road from me... 39-39 with 2 doubles... if only I could get rid of those things.

My friend and I usually play stroke play but if you do certain things while playing you get money for it, it's our Birdie Bucks system with certain amounts of money depending on what it is that you do... hitting the pin, making a sandy, etc.
