  1. Have a look at the callaway x-forged, you can get them at http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/ for about $50. I got these wedges and they are great!
  2. I'll go with Decision 19-5/1.7
  3. I bought the Adams set for this season, Previously i had a 52° Tommy Armour, 56° Vokey SM and a 60° Top-Flite. I never liked to have different brand - they felt and behaved differently. I then decided to get three wedges of the same brand and model. I just happened to find the adams set and thought that 80$ is worth a try - Tom Watson wouldn't (hopefully) put his name on them if they were useless, and if they happened to be useless it was only 80$. Now a short review: I think the heads are a bit to light (I will fix that with lead tape later). The club head looks nice upon address. There is a nice feel upon impact. It generates more than normal (for me) amount of spin (not as much as the vokey though) It's easy to play shots with an open club head (the tommy armour I had was impossible to do that with) They all work good in the sand. I think they are well worth $100, I will probably keep these another season and then get fitted with some nice wedges. But until then these work perfect for me.
  4. Wolf is a fun game, see how-to here . There is links to other game a bit down on this page.
  5. Name: Mats Sandvall Email Address *: Same as here Licensed Owner of Scorecard (Y/N): Y Number of Rounds in Scorecard: 64 Operating System (and version): OS X 10.5.6 1-3 Sentences about why you'd be a good choice: I usually find bugs in software I use. I tested the iPhone version and found some bugs there.
  6. I feel your pain! My last round of golf was in October. I went to the range last Sunday, after 20 minutes or so I had to cancel because of snow and this morning we had 5°F. Hopefully I will be able to play outdoors in a couple of weeks.
  7. Found this image on esoitericgolf.com - and in my book the club that you use for almost every other shot must be your "best investment"
  8. Well there is a market for people with back pains. But I agree with you for the rest of us. Well he wanted ideas, and I hate practice from mats and be "forced" to use rubber tees.
  9. Sounds like this? And to add a wish to your contraption, I wan't it to use standard wooden tees, I hate the rubber hose type of tees. And it would be even better if it was possible to use it on grass aswell.
  10. Then play by the rules, I don't see the problem. If I break a rule I want to know about it, otherwise the next time I do it, it might be in a tournament and ending in a DQ.
  11. I generally don't have a problem playing with higher HC except when they act like I'm a pro, hell I'm a 12 hcp and that's a long way from even close to that good. The second thing I have a problem with isn't that they slices or hooks the ball in different places but the pure fact that they seldom know where the ball ended up. So instead of focusing on my game I become a ball finder. As most other has written I have no problem with questions on both rules and swing tips, but I never give swing tips unless asked. However I always inform other players if they break a rule.

Maybe you should invest in a dishwasher or just not wash the mixer in the shower...
  13. That's interesting, I only found Daly entertaining because the extras. And to answer the original question, no I don't like Boo.
  14. Driver: $230 Farwaywoods: $230 Hybrids: $115 Irons:$540 Wedges: $135 Putter: $115 Bags: $230 So that sums up to almost $1600 And I have always had the perception that I hadn't spend so much money on my set... Hope my GF never ever read this post.
  15. If your handicap index is 36 I wouldn't recommend neither a 3W or 13° hybrid, why not look for a 5W?
