  1. Just because its Arizona, doesn't mean it doesn't snow or get humid here. Maybe clubs that need to be replaced. When nicks and dings are on the face and grooves, time to replace. And club covers do mean your a noob/hack/goon or gay? Happy or like other men?
  2. Hog wash...I've used those Body glove Iron covers for 3+ years on my MX 25s and have yet to see rust! I occasionally submerge them during a round and just dry them off really well. I compared mine to a local golf buddy who bought his 9 months after I did and his are dinged up and look pretty thrashed.
  3. This book? http://www.amazon.com/The-Stack-and-...4324197&sr;=1-4
  4. Scam. It will only give you grief when you pay for it and then they harass you with junk mail and phone calls.
  5. I stopped playing this game on the Wii back in 08. The putting was too flawed and tap ins would always bounce out, even with the auto tap in.
  6. I love this length....I usually use a putting stoke but with a wedge (gap/sand/lob, depends on lie). I will take a narrow stance and put 75% of weight on front leg, align the ball toward the front toe (usually) and use my putting stoke. The stoke is usually a bit longer as opposed to actual putting stoke but it keeps is consistent for me and I have holed it many times using this. On the practice swing, I'm looking for a smooth stroke and distance but most importantly, where my ball contact will be and that is where I align the ball.
  7. I had rarely ever shanked it, UNTIL these damned forums!! I read a "shanked" thread back in January and now shank it once or twice a round and even on the Range. I never posted nothing in those threads since I had nothing to offer, but not now. I want to cuss all you shankers for bringing it into my game. I'm only posting my hatred for you to help exercise the demon shanks out!
  8. Alignment sticks can be used near the ball. You lay it above the ball to stop coming over the top. Lowes and Home Depot have orange glow sticks that work great.
  9. For chips on an uphill lie or flat and firm, I use my 56. On an downhill lie or flat and soft, I use my 60.
  10. Bring back from DEAD.... Has any one hit Cobra Gravity Irons? I know they are old but I got a set for free and was wondering how they are?
  11. I believe this could very well be true too...

  13. Won't happen. They both live in Florida. Why would you want to fly to the West coast when you have one so close...

    NFL Draft Talk

Colt McCoy had the best stats out of all of them! He went last out of the four and to Cleveland, ouch. Hopefully Holmgren is turning this place around and he can turn McCoy into another Hassellback.......(sarcasm) or Favre (serious).
  15. Keep the 60*....then add a 50* or 52* depending on your Pitching Wedge. Then add a 54* or 56* too. Bounce will help from NOT digging into the ground. If it's soft like a bunker, more bounce will help hit the ball out higher. If you have less bounce, then it will dig in more and not bounce it out as high. Same goes for the type of turf you play on. Firm-less bounce, soft- more bounce.
  16. I have that putter to. The alignment is great! I have hit some great putts with this putter. Mine doesn't have an upright lie like yours? It's at a normal lie angle which I've compared it to SC, ping and other blade putters. I like mine more of an upright lie like my NC in my sig. The other thing is, I don't like inserts. I wish it didn't have an insert, other wise I would have the lie bent up and I would be using it. I left it alone and going to try to sell it. I do fuss over mechanics with my putter. It's the difference in making a repeatable swing or not.
  17. If I saw you had a club I'm interested in, I would ask how you liked it. As far as what I thought of you as a Golfer with those clubs? That never crossed my mind as I'm thinking about Golf and not you. I do have thoughts when I'm paired up with strangers. They are: Hope they are good people, hope I don't have to teach them Golf etiquette, do they play ready Golf and they better not be idiots.
  18. I love the adjust ability! I have found what I like and what I don't. I like mine 1% open and it suits what I like to hit. I would have never found this out if it wasn't for the str8-fit. my .02
  19. I don't have a Dymo, but I got the Dymo2 and love it. I have the str8fit and I actually like that the most. I can change it and see if it fit's my swing and how the shot shape is. I've tried all settings and have found I like it 1% open. I also liked it 2% open but the fade was too much. I would have not found this out other wise. I have become more consistent with my drives and I like the feel of this club.
  20. I hope not.... I'm built like Lee Westwood. Ironically I suffer from coming over the top just like him, but I have a strait left arm..lol.
  21. Not with my driver, but my putter. But if adding weight to your driver will help, got for it. Whats the worst that will happen? Take the tape off and buy a Diablo?
  22. +3 for Pinnacle. The most underrated ball on the market. I've used Titleist ProV1 & x, NXT, Nike, Bridgestone and Callaway. The Bridgestone e6 helps off the tee, but I hated it every where else. If you want something similar off the tee but better around the green, try the Pinnacle long (Gold). Not to mention its $10 cheaper and you get 3 more balls.
