  1. Shot a 95 on the dryest course I've ever played. Course is called Trilogy at Vistancia, and its an amazing course when in condition. Should have figured since it was priced really low. I hit some really great shots. Drove a short par 4, ended up parring it due to the incredibly dry greens. Really hard to read. Almost jarred a sandshot for a birdie on a par 4. It hit the pin and ended up an inch away. I hit all 3 of my sand shots today great. Still can't hit my woods worth a damn. I might go golf tomorrow if I can find someone who wants to go
  2. I can't hit my 3 wood or 4 wood good for the life of me. I always seem to top it, or hit it and it just rolls down the fairway for a hundred yards or so. Any tips on how to hit these woods? I've read that you basically hit them similar to your iron, nothing too different, but I thinki it might be wrong. Thanks!
  3. Forgot if I posted mine. I use a Denver Broncos ball marker my grandparents gave me. Its pretty cool. I also have a ball marker that sticks in the ground with my name on it but don't use it, unless its really windy.
  4. thats good, but i dropped 50 in a year. 150 to 100
  5. For some reason when I was younger I used to collect cigar boxes. So I have my change stored up in there, I gotta bring it to the bank sometime
  6. I sometimes have that problem too. I found this site that helps with certain aspects of the game. It did great for me. Give recommendations for the problems and how to fix. As well as how to properly swing in the first place. Helped me a ton. I love it http://www.tomsgolftips.com/
  7. I play the Big Bertha and love it. Just like any club you have to get used to it and work with it. I average about 260 off the tee but can sometimes get a hold of one out there for 300-310. Those feel great!
  8. I wouldn't recommend it. Golfing in 110 degree heat isn't too enjoyable. I'd rather be in Cali where its around 85 year round or Hawaii.
  9. An 82?!?! Looks like you got your 2 good luck charms. Way to go!
  10. Hawaii, Southern California I'm not going to go into specs but those are the obvious choices.
  11. alright guys, ill take one for the team and be golfs next hero
  12. Im from Northern Phoenix and the courses near me (500 club, Legend at Arrowhead) are in terrible shape. Greens are dried out and bumpy as can be. Any golfers up here recommend any courses in good shape? Thanks
  13. Scorecard is the most detailed, organized, and efficient golf score tracker I've used. I have been tracking my golf scores for years and this is the first one that has actually made me excited to update my handicap. Kudos to Scorecard and thanks for another great way to make golf a great sport!
  14. You, my friend, deserve one of those Burger King Steakhouse burgers
  15. Why your 54. What distance do you use your 60?
  16. I know Im rooting for Goydos. Unless Sergio deserves this tournament and plays good down the stretch.
  17. i use crap balls until i found a prov1 on a course, hit it, and loved it
  18. Shot a 97 yesturday with 2 birdies on the front nine. LOL 46, 51 Terrible
  19. After going to the range almost every day last week, and playing the way I did yesturday, Im starting to think it doesn't help at all. I played my worst round of the year, lol. But I am going back to the range today
  20. The 18 means 18 degree hybrid. Its a hybrid club. J might be a wedge
  21. Went to the range today, did the same damn thing. Will try working on it again tomorrow
  22. YES! That sounds exactly like me spot on. I do lose my confidence, and that sounds like it is it. Thanks a lot man
  23. When I'm at the practice chipping area, I have this strange problem. I usually start out really good, the ball going in a nice straight trajectory towardds the flag. But then the more I chip, all of a sudden something switches off and my chips keep going straight right, as if my club head is faced directly the wrong was or if Im hitting it off my toe. I try to make sure my hands are before the ball and all that, and it helps sometimes, but not all the time. This seems like a newbie thing to do, but for some reason I can't figure it out. Any drills to fix this? Thanks
  24. Great advice, thanks! I'll definitely be using these tips today
  25. i see there are quite a few female golfers on here
