  2. I just found this Acclaim sand wedge "The Accurate Weapon". Has anybody ever heard of these or played this club? It looks strange, but feels good, I have not tried it out yet. I could not find any reviews of it on-line, just some for sale.
  3. I just got a used Titleist Stowaway cart yesterday, can't wait to try it out. At 42 I was thinking I might be to "young" to be using one, but I am starting to get tired of lugging the bag mid way through the back nine!
  4. I just pick up these Tommy Armour 845U irons for a great price, they seem to be well made and have a good feel to them. Has anybody out there played with these irons? I am not sure if they can replace my PINGs.
  5. I have 845hb sand wedge in my bag and love it, very easy to play. I have never tried any other Armour irons, but if I had a chance I would give them a try.
  6. The first 8823 appears in the 1969 catalog. That one came with a leather grip. In 70 & 71 they came in black chrome. They stopped production in 1976.
  7. I love my old PING eye 2 irons. Before I got them I was playing even older Wilson Staff Fluid Feel blades, needless to say the PING are much easier to play!
  8. I still use PING eye 2 irons, they are great for me, but I have not tried the newer PING irons out there.
  9. I remember the PING zing ball playing pretty well, but that was a long time ago.
  10. I still like to hit my old PING eye 2 woods at the range every now and then.
  11. I love PING putters, great feel. Right now I am using a ISOPUR B60i, I also use an old N-ECHO.
  12. I love my old Eye 2 irons! I would never get rid of mine even if I did switch to something newer.
  13. I love all things PING! PING Eye 2 irons, PING i3 woods, PING N-ECHO or B60 putter.
  14. I Picked up an Wilson Sandy Andy wedge for 10 bucks. I have heard good things about these wedges, but I still need to try it out.
  15. I am trying the same thing. It seems to have made it better, but I would not say that I am cured.
  16. I Like my old PING i3.
  17. I just pick up a copy of this at a local thrift store, I think it's the best 50 cents I ever spent!
  18. I was wondering the same thing, thanks!
  19. I still play them and love them!!!
  20. Hello everyone, I have really enjoyed looking around on "The Sand Trap" the past few days. I am just getting back into playing golf after being away from the game for about eight years. I have found some great info here! Thanks!
  21. I love my old PING N-ECHO! I have also used an original Anser and a B60 with successes. I LOVE PING putters, nothing better!!!
  22. It is very easy, if you have a compressor. Cut off the old grips and remove the tape. Clean and apply new tape, cover with a little soapy water, start the new grip on, then apply small burst of air from the compressor to the hole at the end of the grip as you slide the grip on to the shaft. Simple as that.
  23. I pick up a full set of "Gentle Giant" irons the other day for next to nothing, but I can not find out much about them. Anybody ever heard of them, or better yet used them?
