  1. I don't understand the statement or question.
  2. You're gonna loose the plastic ferrule anyway. It'll have to be replaced. I've done enough of these to know what I'm talking about. I never knew he didn't have a puller. I must've missed that part. I use a hydraulic puller.
  3. Because if you directly heat the adapter the finish on the adapter will rub off.
  4. A micro torch will work just fine (keep the heat moving), but I would leave the driver assembled and pull the shaft like a regular epoxied club. I've re-used and reshafted MANY adjustable drivers and this is the way I do it.
  5. I am enjoying the heck out of my Adams Super LS/ Kuro Kage Black right now. I have acquired a Sinister Golf Agent Orange/ Fujikura EXS to try next.
  6. The PL Platinum & VS Proto are both "low torque" shafts. Negligible difference between the 2. Don't read something into "torque" that's not there.
  7. I'm almost positive they are .370p I will check to make sure.
  8. All the original DCT are conforming. DCT 551 non in all lofts except 12*, it is conforming. Any questions just call Steve Almo. He'll be more than happy to answer any and all questions about his products which are 2nd to none imho. I'm sure he'd also be willing to talk on other subjects too. He's a great guy.
  9. You actually allowed ignorance and paranoia here cause you to doubt it's authenticity? :-\ Tsk tsk tsk. Looks like there was more than one errant miss to the toe by the other marks. I have seen that happen on occasion all be it not very often. That was a BAAAAAD miss.
  10. I want to thank Erik for puttin' up with me the 1st couple years I was here. It took me a bit to "get it", but I think I do now, for the most part anyway. ;-) Just glad to be a small part of the place. Thanks!
  11. I'll 2nd that. Right out of the box, none more.
  12. I'm just south of you in Mason and I didn't want no part of the moisture....or should I say slop.
  13. Enough?
  14. I have found the best thing to use is finger nail polish. It covers old paint if you don't feel like removing and cleans pretty easy with nail polish remover or acetone. I come to this conclusion by trial and error.
  15. I've found good old fashioned lighter fluid works as good as anything. Tried it after I saw Arnie use it. Dries pretty quick too.
  16. Ours are open snow or not. Just have to hit off the mats.
  17. Hang in there! One day closer to warmth, green grass and tee times!
  18. My ego is not bruised in any way, shape or form. I had their clubs shipped to my door, on different occasions, with no grips installed so i could do my best to identify what shaft was used. They're a perfect step pattern match to the True Temper Multi Step shaft, period and I did talk 1st hand to a Mr. Wilson, 1st name leaves me at this time. Please feel free to ask Giga to send some raw Feather Lite shafts and compare them for weight with the TTMS. I'll be more than happy to do what I can to help. Just for shits and giggles, has anybody here ever measured loft on various heads from different manufacturers that are stamped with a stated loft and had them measure outside of a companies tolerances? You might be surprised. I have and some are not off just a little bit. Just an example is all. I know what I know. The guy cooked his own goose. My so called ego had nothing to do with him being more interested in an argument than finding facts. Please carry on.
  19. it was -2* here @ 7am. It's shot all the way up to +4* right now. It's forcasted to get up to 30* today. C'mooon 30*! :-D I can't remember snow being on the ground at one time for this long since 1977-78 and I don't know if it was down for that long then as I was only 12-13 yrs old.:-(
  20. Yep. Lord knows there's plenty of SNOW to be shoveled. Thanks & Y'all have a nice day.
  21. Priority Mail International for a 9lb package is anywhere from $67- $76 depending on if you print the label online or go to the PO. $70- $81 for a 10 lb package.
  22. Nope, I'm not mad at you. I was trying to help you out, but you obviously would rather argue. That's on you. Do the work yourself instead of coming on here, asking for help, then trying to start a fight. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
