  1. Haha awesome post. So true.
  2. Good point, I think the finalists are all lower then an 8 if Im not mistaken.
  3. Thanks for the answer, one more question. I notice it gives you 4 custom points each hole. Now, If i go to igolf and download a course and not do anything else, will it give me those custom points as well as the f/b/c or are the custom points just things that I enter myself. By downloading a course from igolf is it going to give me distances to doglegs and bunkers and stuff like that? Thanks in advance.
  4. I have a question about the neo. When you go from a green to the next tee does the unit automatically go to the next hole, or do you have to manually tell it to, and if you have to manually tell it to, how long until it loads the info? Are you standing there waiting for the thing to load or is it fast? Thanks
  5. Anyone here wear the Etonic G-Sok? I hear they are real comfortable and are on sale now for around 45.00.
  6. What, in your opinion is the most comfortable golf shoe for walking the course.

I dont think it will ever happen.
  8. My wife would love that excuse!! The weights in a backpack is a very good idea. Im going to try that tomorrow morning at the gym, just wondering what the trainers are going to think of me when I start taking 10 lb weights and shoving them in my backpack!!
  9. I work out all winter long. Cardio (walking) 20 minutes a day on a treadmill with a slight incline. I do that about 3 days a week along with weight training. Im just hoping that this is because I havent walked about 5 miles carrying clubs on my back in quite some time. My game really suffered on the back nine..
  10. So I walked 18 holes today and man, by the 13th hole I was having trouble staying down on the ball to hit my shots, my back was basically shot, so stiff. Im hoping that this was because it was the first walk of the year....I like to walk when I play but finishing the round today was a challenge, this really never happens to me. Any of you guys that regularly walk experience this in the beginning of the year? If so, let me know.
  11. I go about 3-4 times a week so I couldnt vote because my answer wasnt there.
  12. Not you, AvidGolfer said he was overrated, I saw that when you said JK. To answer the question my vote goes to Sergio all the way.
  13. Im boring, I have a few dollars in quarters in my bag and before each round, I reach in my bag and grab about three of them for my pocket. So for me its just a quarter.
  14. I try not to think about anything as hard as it sounds, i pick out that tiny target down the fairway and as soon as I look back at the ball I am pulling the trigger. Doesnt always work that way, but that is what I try to do.
  15. Tiger Woods is definitely not overrated, we, meaning all of us on this forum will never see another golfer like this in our lifetime. Be appreciative that you are seeing this while you can, and dont blame him for what announcers say about him, he cannot control that. I cant even believe that someone would say that he is overrated. What more does the guy have to do to make you believe that he will be the greatest golfer ever to play this game. Does that sound like overrated being the greatest ever to play the game? Doesnt to me.
  16. All depends on the course you play and the way they have their scorecard designed. Usually its the distance from the tee to the middle of the green.
  17. Do they have a hole that is supposed to replicate the 17th at Sawgrass? If so how did that look?
  18. Good man, thanks.
  19. It depends on the type of slow play. I know your thinking there is just one type but let me explain. What I mean is if the slow play is because the course is crowded then I dont really mind it because there is really nothing that can be done. But sometimes I have noticed that the slow play is due to the groups in front of me fishing for balls that arent theirs out of lakes and walking along the woods line to see if they can find balls, that pisses me off. However, I dont hit into them or anything like that, but if I can catch them on a teebox or at the turn I will definitely ask them if I can play through. Ive never had a problem. Plus I only play golf during the week so I rarely encounter this.
  20. Shafts will come uncut, its when you are installing them that they have to be tip trimmed and butt trimmed.
  21. Could'nt agree with you more. Thats why sometimes when I see people on here asking questions about grip and this and that, I always try to refer them to this book, because if you havent read it you have no idea how informative it is. Getting back to lag, Ive noticed that if I swing like it says in lesson 4, hit the ball as hard as you can, I find that most of my lag is gone. Even when I turn my left hip immediately to the left. When I slow my swing down and keep "lazy hands" is when I can create the most lag and really take a lot of turf when I hit my irons.
  22. I quoted the whole message because I dont know how to do the partial quotes, but I think its awesome that a +1.5 index refers back to Hogans Lessons. Reason I say this is this book is the best golf instruction book ever IMO. I was fighting a dreaded hook last year, read this book and it changed my game probably forever. A little off topic and no response needed, keeping the topic on lagging the club, but I thought that was great.
  23. Buy Rotellas book, "Putting out of your mind." This will help you and realize it isnt so much about your stroke when it comes to putting.
  24. Always, always, always play the ball as it lies. It would be cheating otherwise.
