  1. I try to pick it clean. Choke up a bit and make sure that I hit the ball cleanly at the bottom of my swing.
  2. I doubt its fresh water...
  3. Don't forget poultry science...
  4. This is a pretty handy guide for roughly estimating your flex.
  5. Great club. Pretty consistently 250yds+ off the tee with a beautiful ball flight. Nearly as long off the deck. You'll be happy, for sure. (I have the stock Gold Stiff shaft)

    Then carry a dip cup.

You dip but you don't spit??

Is it really that difficult for people who chew to spit in the rough? This is like •••••••s who spit saliva on sidewalks when there is grass or a bush just off the sidewalk.
  9. I find that the e7+ takes away some of the sidespin problems I had with the e6+. It keeps the spin down and the ball lower, but is still surprisingly soft around the greens.
  10. One of the biggest problems high handicappers have is a lack of consistency stemming from a lack of focus. The size of blades and knowledge of the precision needed to hit them force you to bear down and focus on the task at hand, resulting in better shots.
  11. The Bridgestone e series is a great line of balls. I game the e7+.
  12. Go for it. Everyone says that golf is a mental game, but when you try to use your brain and out think your opponents, people whine that it's "against the spirit of the rules". Don't be a dick about it, of course, but do it and make your opponents learn their lesson. They'll know better in the future, and you might get yourself a birdie on the hole.
  13. Didn't Duval win the British with Nike?
  14. Indubitably old chap.
  15. Having the same problem with my bag. Interested in their reply.
  16. Tour Wrap cords, but definitely want to try the Lamkin Crossline cords next.
  17. So long as you swing through the divot, size isn't really a big deal.
  18. I found this link (just search for swastika on the page). Here is the description: MOOREHEAD GOLF, VALPARAISO, IN: "Swastika" marks at heel and toe of a C-1925 off set blade putter stamped "Baltic". The Swastika marks are the American Indian's sign for "Good Luck". All original G-8++ $75 Definitely a pre-war item.
  19. They're worthless. Save up and get a laser range finder.
  20. Easy. Use your own balls.
  21. This happened to me today, and certifiably ruined my round. All my other clubs were normal (not perfect, but 80% of the shots ended up how I wanted them), but my wedges were sh*t. Several times I striped a 3 wood down the pipe, leaving me a pitching or gap wedge into the green. Unfortunately, every time I seemed to hit a ball that went hard right. IDK what the deal is, but it is annoying as all get out.
  22. The Wilson Staff Di line is very forgiving. More importantly, the Wilson Staff Di line is inexpensive.
  23. Don't forget Craigslist. People are always selling stuff for dirt cheap on there.
  24. I'll make it simple: get the stiff flex. If you swing fast enough to hit a 9 iron 145 yards, you need stiff flex.
  25. Check the used racks at your local golf store. You might be able to find a few years old fairway wood for cheap (~$50). Put a new grip on it, and it might as well be new.
