  1. and only $1500.00 a set
  2. This looks pretty cool! pretty darn small and a heck of a price for existing igolf users.
  3. http://www.louisvillegolf.com/ Pretty cool stuff........
  4. If you feel comfortable not wearing a glove then your good......if you feel you need a glove then chances are the glove might have been a little big allowing it to "slip" or "bunch" a little while you swing. Grips are cheap, so replacing them with say Golf Pride tour velvets (or something of that ilk) would only run you about $2-$3 a club and can never hurt.
  5. If you are right handed and getting a blister on your left thumb, assuming you wear a glove, you might want to try a smaller size glove.
  6. Hi there, I think I know what you are saying. I have way too many of the "newer" style drivers and of all of them the origanal Hibore has the most "solid" small head feel to me. Part of that old school feeling is the need to tee it up low and the Hibore performs at it's best when tee'd low. The sound is certainly a little different but not enough to cringe at.....2 cents.....and good luck!
  7. Driver.............2i hybrid (smoooooth swing)............59 degree from 45-55 yards..............in the hole
  8. In the living room: irons: CG1 black pearls Srixon I403AD Macgregor 1025 CM Drivers: Hibore Superquad with Epic shaft X460 9o5T 440 comp tour various hybids, wedges, fairway metals........... and yes I am currently looking for a good therapist in the bag below------
  9. I certainly wouldn't say the r7's are junk. I have to admit the standard r7's were wat too chunky and looked like shovels to me, but the tp's are entirely different clubs. As far as others.......The forged 300's were sweet
  10. I have the r7 tp irons and r7 425 tp driver. Funnily enough I just got back from the range about 5 minutes ago. I just picked up the 425 and it was the first time I had a chance to hit it. I'm a bit of an equipment nut and tend to buy clubs online on a whim if I find a smokin deal whick I did for the driver. After hitting about 30-40 balls with the driver I'm pretty happy with it. It sets up really square being the tp version and I like the slightly smaller head size. The Superquad I have looks a little too bulbus for me and may take a little more getting used too. The stock Rombax 75g shaft has some nice weight too. As far as the irons go I had it down to the S58's and the R7 tp's at Golfsmith (great minds think alike ) and really liked them both and hit them both equally well. I found a great deal on the TP's hence they are in the bag. You may wan't to look at the mizuno MP60's or the new 57's they are very sweet and I'm currently trying to talk myself out of buying a set The Srixon I-506 can be found for some pretty good deals now also....nice forged iron. Good luck!
  11. Just got my FT-5 today.......only got a chance to hit about 10 balls but looking very forward to playing on Saturday with it. It's replacing an R7 Superquad TP that I have been using for the last month or so which I like a lot too. Was not thrilled with the stock shaft so I put in an Epic which I liked a lot more and gained a little more control and a few yards. Personally so far I prefer the setup of the FT-5 and feels a little more controllable through the swing and at impact for me. So Far: R7 SuperQuad (stock shaft) 8.5/10 R7 SuperQuad (EPIC shaft) 9/10 FT-5 (stock shaft) 9.5/10 Which ever way you go ENJOY!
  12. R7 draw stiff DG. I really like the shallow face and weight.....
  13. I bought the Callie.....really like it. It's a traditional style. I actually went into the golf store with money burning a hole in my pocket thinking of getting a Scotty, but after putting with both the Callie felt better to me and I bought it......plus saved about a buck fifty
  14. All irons mentioned are great irons, I hit the R7's well but thought them to be a bit bulky and almost a step backwards from my srixons as far as looks......then went to the TP's....... .......very sweet. More of a "players" club for sure, but look gorgeous at address, and give me some room to grow into. The FP's are nice as well, but again too much offset and a little to chunky for me. I also really like the looks and set up of the Ping S58's too...
  15. I use my 59° almost exclusively from about 80-90 yards in, and for 95% of all chipping around the green. Unless I have to keep the trajectory down due to being under a tree branch or something......not that I'm ever in the trees
