Just got a retirement present of the GEN4 full bag of PXG clubs. Can't wait to get my fitting. I am interested in hearing how anyone likes these clubs and putters.
I am looking at purchasing a new push cart. TGW is now making its own cart. It looks like it has all of the features I want and is substantially cheaper than name brands. Anyone have a TGW push cart?
I have the Garmin watch and absolutely love it. Easy to use and very accurate. Good battery life. The distance to front, center, and back of green is all that I need.
I understand the Rules Committee did not talk with Tiger before he signed his score card. If he knew they reviewed his drop and no action was taken this would have provided Tiger with justification to sign his score card without the penalty. Under that circumstance the mistake would be more on the Committee than Tiger.
I am moving into a condo this spring. There is a heated common garage which has room for a storage unit or shelving in front of the parking spaces. Looking for recommendation for storage of my clubs and push cart. Options are open shelving / rack or secured and locked cabinet. There are only 11 units in the building and I am not concerning about fellow condo owners. I still have some reservations about having my clubs just sitting there in the open. Thanks for thoughts and recommendations.
Hope my lifestype change results in more available time on the course.
Watched a bit of the scrambe yesterday. Nicklaus was playing very well and is on the leaderboard. Palmer was showing his age and it appeared he was either mad or sad about the quality of his game and inability to compete. I felft bad for him on 18 because it did not look like Arnie was enjoying himself and what could be one of his last rounds with Jack. As much as Arnie loves golf and likely understands his limitations, his desire to compete appears even greater. That is what made him a great champion.
Golf is also meant to be fun. If fluffying gives a weekend golfer more enjoyment from the game, go for it. I don't agree that this somehow means you are not playing golf or those who "play by the rules" are somehow superior. Each to his own unless you are playing tournament golf.
My course has been flooded every spring except this last year for the last 4 plus years. Consequently, even the fairways are spotty. I will play winter rules when playing weekend golf. On men's night or tournaments, no fluffy and I play strictly by the rules. On the weekends I am really just playing against myself.
