  1. Look at the Cobra Baffler Rail-H 17 degree 2H. Fits your needs and a great club.
  2. Goal going into this season was to break 90. Have done this several time, including tdoay when I shot an 88.
  3. I converted to the stack and tilt this spring and have seen much improvement in my ball striking. I believe I have the basics incorporated into my swing and want to begin refining the principles of S & T. Rather than working on obvious weaknesses, I would like to focus on progression of elements to become more effective with the S & T swing. Any advice on where to begin, what to emphasize and prgression to follow?
  4. Vokey spin milled 60.07 wedge.
  5. Joining a league is the way to go. Make sure they put together the foursomes each week so you golf with different people. Our league puts together foursomes of A, B, C, and D each week. Rarely golf with the same guys.
  6. Anyone ever tried one of these? Like an electronic dart board, The Putting Game puts a score on the precision of each putt (all putts are graded on a scale of 0 to 100 based on directional accuracy and speed). To make it fun the device presents a series of putting challenges (typically 5 putts in each challenge), totals the individual putt scores, and then presents a final score. These putting challenges (or games as we like to call them) make you focus and try your very best. The games raise the bar for you each time you play and enable you to measure your progress as time goes on.
  7. After playing on windy conditions for several weeks, I have decided to go to the bump and run more. Interested in hearing what clubs you like to use and method for guaging distance.
  8. It will take some getting used to. When I switched, I found longer putts were particularly difficult. Now I would not return to a traditional grip. You need to give it a chance.

    Fall update

Been awhile since I posted. The Stack and Tilt was a great swing change for me. Broke 90 for the first time on my home course and have my handicap index down to 16.7 from 20 plus. My driving has become fairly consistent with a nice draw. Overall my ball striking has improved tremendously and I am trying to lower my scoring through good course management working on my short game. I will shooting for my third weekend in a row with a sub 90 round. I will report back after the holiday. Almost forgot. Had my first eagle from 162 yards out for a 2 on a par 4.
  10. Looking at adding a 60 degree wedge. My wedge setup includes pitching wedge 45 degrees, gap wedge, 50 degrees and 56 degree sandwedge with 14 degree bounce. I want the new wedge to be more versitile and hit it off hardpan lies. What bouce should I be looking at? Thanks.

    Broke 90

My goal for this season was to break 90 on my home cours e. I shot an 86 on vacation on an easier course and then followed in up with an 87 on my home course.
  12. 162 yards into the hole for an eagle 2.
  13. I replaced by 3 wood with Cobra Baffler 2H and don't beleive I have lost much distance.
  14. Received post card today offering free putter or lob wedge to test out on the course. Anyone know about this and whether there is a catch. Thoughts on Warrior clubs? Thanks
  15. Just read and tried to implement ideas today. I hit some good shots but found that I hit a number of balls at a 45 degree angle to the right. What's the deal. My conclusion is that I am not making proper pivot. Thanks for any help.
  16. Any recommendation on good read to improve my course management?
  17. I need to purchase prescription glasses and am considering transition lens. Anyone wearing these out on the golf course?
  18. Looking at the Cobra Baffler Rail 2H to fill gap between 3 wood and 3 hybrid. Liked hitting at simulator yesterday. Other option is Ping 4 wood.
  19. Miller commented on Clarke using a S & T like stroke on his drive on 18. Does he consider himself in that fashion?
  20. Other than what feels best, what should I be looking at in determining whether to get a regular or stiff shaft for a new hybrid I am considering.
  21. I have gotten in about 5-6 rounds using the Stack and Tilt Swing. I like the results generally. Still trying to get comfortable. Last time out I was hitting alot of missed shots and hooks. Went back to the book and saw potential fixes. I did not play today, but did hit a few balls on the range and the suggestions worked. This is what I like most about the swing and the book, the ability to actually figure out what you are doing wrong rather than just guessing and trial and error. Right now I have alot of thoughts rushing through my mind when I step up to the ball. I am trying to limit to just a few things after getting into a proper setup. For me what seems to be important is weight forward, swing with hands in and arms going across the chest and making sure left shoulder brushes my chin. Already scoring around my handicap and see myself moving in the right directions.
  22. Had problems with my swing today. It might be that I am thinking about too many things in changing my swing. Any suggestions on points to emphasize and good way to progress into the Stack and Tild without getting overwelmed? Thanks.
  23. I am looking at the Cobra Rail H
  24. Second request.
  25. Looking at the Cobra Baffler Rail Hybrid in 17 degrees. Looks like a nice club especially when have long shots from the rough. Anyone tried? I am also interesting in Ping G15 either 2 hybrid or 4 metal, and the Cleveland TWS Hybrid.
