  1. I have never taken a cart, so I can't comment.
  2. I play everything about 2 inches behind my front big toe, except for driver is almost level. The shorter the club, the more narrow the stance, which sort of makes the ball more towards the center.
  3. LOL yes but the commentators wouldn't say what happened to the texas wedge.
  4. LOL yeah I just take it sarcasticly every time. There is another one with his Pro-V1 rule. Never trust a guy who used to have their avatar as Ian poulter naked with a pink bag.
  5. LOL another post from this guy What will you come up with next??
  6. I know how you feel, I hit 5i on a 185 yarder today, landed 2ft short, and sat on the edge of the hole! :( Still haven't had one.
  7. All the guys who say they have trouble driving or hitting long approach shots, I would recommend just avoiding them in competitive rounds. Just lay up with a 6 iron instead of hitting a hard 5 and hitting it OB or flubbing it.
  8. I believe that most people get a SC, because it is a SC. Same reason most people get titleist or mizuno blades. It is mainly mental why SC's feel so good I believe.
  9. Titleist 695.CB/MB mix. I would go with 3,4,5,6 in the Cavities, and then 7,8,9 in the blades. Or you could try their new ZM set, which is basically the same, except a bit harder to hit in the cavities. I don't know why no one is recommending titleist, as they still make the best irons I believe and so do most pro's.
  10. When I am playing bad out of bunkers, I just practice by drawing a line 2" behind the ball, and focus on hitting the sand there with a good pace and good acceleration.
  11. I think its funny how all the people 3 putt when they drive the greens. It must be pressure, and it shows that not all short holes are easy, as undulating greens make a huge difference.
  12. Well I have a par 3 at my course that is in the range that most of you guys are driving your par 4's. It is 220 metres (about 255 yards), and plays into the wind up hill. Even our A graders need to hit 3 woods or drivers to get there. There is also a 288 metre par 4 that I hit into a greenside bunker on the weekend, which has a water hazard at about 250 off the tee. Very risky/lucky to make it.
  13. Just had a 31, with a bogey on 12 and 18 ;(
  14. Maybe in his "personal" phone call, he had a problem like someone in the family passing away or his girlfriend dumping him etc., and he didn't react well to it.
  15. Now your just taking it too far like wtf its so obvious man you've gotta be joking??? Or are you actually being serious.. And also I think you should change your avatar its just a bit queer?
  16. I believe that a 60* is high enough loft as you can easily open it up to more than 70*...And I have grounded off the bounce of mine so it doesn't sit up too much when opened up. I personally think most people only need 3 wedges (47-48, 54, 60) with 6* gaps each... The 64 seems like just too much...
  17. Yes they are good clubs and are not much different to Titleist 695.MB blades, except for their advertising. And they come with excellent shafts. It would be a good choice if you want to save some cash for a new iron set.
  18. Well it is still cheating with your PRO-V1 rule... As you have no idea how much your bladed pitching wedge would have spun, and it is likely that it wouldn't be much. Also, if you are playing a harder ball, you are getting more distance, and you are taking advantage of the extra spin without sacraficing your distance. This is really stupid and you should probably stop doing it.
  19. Yeah I was definetly thinking of thickening it up a bit as my tour velvets are way to small and thin.
  20. I play at Tuggerah, Wyong and Gosford, but I am a member at everglades. Everglades is much the same as what you described : Short, tight and small greens. I haven't played much sydney golf, and the ones I have played I haven't enjoyed as much as Hunter regions and Country Courses.
  21. A ping i10 would be a good option for you Hawkeye, if they even make them?
  22. Yeah, but I wear a glove on the hand that gets ripped up so this generally doesn't happen. Does anyone have any experience with the Tour Wrap Cords by Golf pride?
  23. Bump.....
  24. I put a bid on some golf pride Tour wrap cords, as they looked very good. I am just wondering, when you regrip, do you use methylated spirits to put inside the grip and on the grip tape, and is it just the stickiness of the tape that holds the grips straight and solid.
