  1. I replaced my 5W with a 2H about a year ago. For me the distance is about the same only because I hit the hybrid a little better than the 5W.
  2. Ditto. Bought it, love it, very durable.
  3. MP52s are probably the most forgiving in the MP line. You might also check out the MX200s. They are more forgiving than the MPs and they're also forged like the MPs.
  4. How well do you hit your 5 iron?
  5. Try THIS and then try that ball as well as similar balls from other manufacturers.
  6. I'm not much of a MJ fan, but I must admit that Off The Wall and Thriller are all time classic pop albums. He got too weird for me after that. The early Jackson 5 stuff is classic too in a bubblegum kind of way.
  7. Dogs, no question. I have owned several dogs over the years. I loved some of them like they were my children. I've never felt that same attachment to cats. Probably because cats seem aloof and independent, while dogs are more loyal and good natured.
  8. Ditto. I bought about 10 boxes of U Tri Tours on clearance. Great golf balls, IMO. I haven't tried any other Precept balls, but I also hear the Laddie X is a good bang for the buck.
  9. The D2 Feel is not bad at all, IMO - esspecially for the price. I didn't like the D2 Straight as well. Srixon Soft Feel and AD333 and Pinnacle Platinum Feel are also pretty good inexpensive balls. And of course the Gamer - I haven't played it yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.
  10. Ditto. But I've never ordered thru their amazon storefront, only directly from their wesite. I would call TGW and speak to someone instead of emailing them. That seems to make a difference in situations like this.
  11. Supposedly, center shafted putters are best for straight strokes and heel shafted putters are best for arching strokes. But I think it really just comes down to personal preference and confidence (just like everything else in golf!). Use whatever style putter helps you sink more putts.
  12. A couple of years ago I was trying to decide between MX900s and Fusions (and a few others). In the end, the Mizunos just felt so much better than the others that it really wasn't a hard decision for me. I have heard good things about that ebay seller so you would probably be fine, but these days counterfeits are so good that sometimes legit sellers can't tell the difference.
  13. I would think the relatively soft insert on your putter probably levels the playing field a bit making a cheap Top Flite ball feel similar to a premium Titleist ball. Try the same experiment with a non-insert putter and see what your results are. Maybe the same, maybe completely different.
  14. Walmart also does that with Titleist. They carry HP Tour, HP Distance, etc. Never seen those anywhere else. They used to carry Precept U Tri Tour (which is a GREAT ball, IMO) but recently stopped. I bought about 10 boxes when they were on clearance.
  15. No offense, but why would you want to buy any Cameron or Vokey just because someone else says it's good? Not every club is right for every golfer. There may be one specific Cameron model that works best for you. If you buy some other model because someone else says it's good and you can get it cheap, you're wasting your money IMO. You need to decide which model YOU like and then try to find a good deal for it. Just my 2¢
