r7 tp!!!! one word... amazing
-
I also agree with the ping eye 2's considering i use them.. they are amazing.. and i got mine for 150$ that was with shipping too.. they were practically brand new
-
what is the degree of your PW? If you go with the 4 wood I would look at adding 2 more wedges to get you to 14 clubs. A Gap and a lob wedge. Depending on your loft of your PW will depend on the loft of your wedges. Its good to have the same numbers of loft between each club
-
I'm guessing its ping right?
-
I would look at adding a 3 wood or a 4 wood if you have trouble hitting 3 woods. Then if you go with a 3 wood I would look at adding a 5 wood. If you go for a 4 wood I would add another wedge. That should get you to your 14 clubs.

in the sig. but in the next year or 2 i'm looking at getting a new 7 wood and a new putter. Maybe even a new hybrid or 2.

Time to upgrade... damn cheap Irons
bballglf23 replied to Basikstylz's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I would go with ping eye 2's you can get them for $250 or less. Amazing irons, durable, forgiving, and everything else. They are still some of the best irons, but alot cheaper. I would get a set from ebay asap. -
High handicapper looking for some new irons!

do you use ebay? if so.. I would look at the ping eye 2's... amazing irons... some of the best in the game and they are about 20 years old. They are indestructable. I got a set for $130 with $20 shipping -
Best fairway woods under £60?
bballglf23 replied to mgolfer's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
you can get the taylormade r5 dual for about 80 american dollars at the highest on ebay. You can also get the 904f for about the same price on ebay. -
the superquad is amazing!! i use the 425 and i love it... but yesterday i went to dicks sporting goods and tried out the superquad on the launch moniter. My distance was only about 10 yards longer, but all my shots went to about the same place (slight draw). Where with the 425 they can be a draw, fade, or straight. so it was awesome

I'm part of the other. I use an Izzo AS2 stand bag. It has a magnetic ball pocket, and a new carry system
-
I would go with the ping g5 hybrid. Tour Edge Irons. Have you tried a taylormade driver? They are nice, and if you slice the ball, you can change your ball flight with the MWT. Then when you are at the driving range, you can change it back to normal to fix it. They are also long and straight. If you really like the Big Bertha then I would stick with it, it is a nice driver. The taylormade is just my personal oppinion. I would also try different wedges. That is a great set for $80, but I would try some titleist vokey wedges, or pings, taylormades, or callaways. You can get them all for around 50 dollars on ebay

3 wood recommendations?

Taylormade r7 tp!!!! amazing!!!! enough said -
gapwedge have you tried ping tour wedges alongside the mbs? if you did, did you notice any difference?
-
ahh now here's what I'm talking about!! I wouldn't trade my Eye 2's in for any other irons out there. I'm only 14 and when my golf teacher (friends dad) said these are the best irons out there. I went home and did some research and I saw that they were twice as old as me and I thought he was kidding. I got a set and WOW they are amazing. I also got the whole set in perfect condition for 150 off of ebay! thats a great deal. If only the wedges weren't so expensive... o well I like my tours too.

What one thing would you buy from Cleveland?
bballglf23 replied to Mr.Buckethead's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Even though it looks like you dont use a fairway wood, I would try the hibore fairway wood. It is a very nice fairway wood. There wedges are really nice too. -
I pick Titleist. I don't play any titleist clubs. Just their golf balls. If I could choose though I think I would go with titleist though. Just because their drivers are nice (not as nice as TM IMO) but they are still nice, their fairway woods are nice. I love their irons (still love my ping eye 2's though) and well where to begin with their wedges and putters? They make pro v1 which is one of the best balls, well pretty much THE best... The runner up would be mizuno or taylormade. Then ping or callaway
-
i personnally do not like getting the wedges that come with the wedges, b/c i think alot of them arent any good, unless your talkn about the ping eye 2's or something. I try to stick to the same brand though. So it has close to the same feel. I was going to get the ping eye 2 wedges, but they are too dang expensive, so I settled for the tours, which are also nice
-
The 425 is awesome!! But i would go check all of them out at the pro shop and find which is best for you
-
i have an r7 425, and i have mine set for a slight draw, high launch. Mine is 8.5* so the high launch gives mea perfect ball flight.. and my natural ball flight is a fade so the slight draw brings it straight to a slight draw. I also have an r7 tp 3 wood, and i have it set to a slight draw too

How Many Wedges Do You Carry?
bballglf23 replied to teece31's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Ping eye 2 pitching wedge ping tour 54* sand wedge ping tour 60* lob wedge all black dot with stiff shaft -
I love to hit my 3-5 irons, but dang hybrids are alot easier to hit, so I have a TM mid 4 hybrid, and a Nickent 3dx 5 hybrid, I still keep the 3 iron in the bag just incase I need to hit a lowshot to get out of trouble or something like that.
