  1. 2 hybrids: 20 & 23 degree. I can't hit my 4i at all.
  2. Yes, I'm referring to your existing clubs if you are on a tight budget. If you can get new clubs and also have them fitted by a decent clubfitter, that would be awesome.
  3. I think you have it opposite. A hitter has a more aggresive transition from backswing to downswing, so he loads the shaft more than a smooth tempo swinger. ie. Hard step for hitter.
  4. No, I don't own one. I agree with you. He knows what golfer wants and he knows very well how to sell them. However, if it's only $10, I'd buy one. Is there any rules on ball marker? If I can have a 5 ft long ruler as my ball marker. I'm sure it's going to do an excellent job lining up my putt with intened line.
  5. Congratulations. You are very lucky. In my opion, you will improve your game more if you take that money and spend it to get your clubs to fit your swing. Maybe get 1 or 2 wedges, a putter that you like (have them all fitted to your swing), and few lessons on the short game that will help you around the green and improve your score.
  6. swing weight doesn't apply so much because your putting stroke is so much shorter than a real swing butt weight is to help stabilize your stroke to OP: it can be done. I had a two-ball it was cut down to 33" from 35". what happened to it? it's too short for me :p oops. mallet heads are heavier compare to blades so you should be fine. if you feel the head is too light, just add some lead tapes.
  7. hybrids generally come with shafts longer than the irons you are replacing. say comparing 20 deg hybrid to a 20 deg iron, you will hit the hybrid a bit longer. best way is to demo one and see which one fills the gap evenly. if you want a hybrid that goes about your 3 iron distance, i'd go with 22 deg.
  8. This: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index....owtopic=146842 I started making a lot more solid contact and added one club length with my clubs after 1 week of practice.
  9. definitely 2 or 3 wedges.
  10. get some used or recycled balls?
  11. i think you can scrub it off with soapy water or dish detergent. that's what I do when i have sharpie marks on the floor
  12. don't they all have the maxed out COR? the only thing that will make the ball go longer is lighter and longer shaft to increase swing speed.
  13. I guess I'm standing too upright.
  14. Of course I am standing on the proper side. I think my stroke has a bigger curve than the machine's biggest setting.
  15. Dean sent me a dvd without any questions. Great customer service! The DVD is definitely a lot more helpful than the paper manuals I got. I'm still a bit confused about my stroke though. I've setup with the red spacer (most curving arc) When I close my eyes and swing my putter on the machine, it feels like I'm actually swinging with a U shape instead of an upside down U. I was just rotating my shoulders without any hand manipulation. Is this supposed to be right?
  16. check if the flat part of the grip and the club face are at 90 deg angle? i saw quite a few off the shelf putters have a slightly closed or opened face. (bad quality control)
  17. top left corner
  18. http://www.golfdigest.co.jp/digest/c...ns/default.asp damn they are cute.
  19. stock shafts usually play a bit softer if you compare that to aftermarket shafts. i'm guessing that you are slicing probably because of the shaft too stiff for you? when i was picking out a driver, i usually try those with stock stiff or after market regular. btw, my ss is about 90 just something to pay attention to, so you end up hating burner later and looking for another new driver.
  20. my driver ss is about 90 and I use 5.0.
  21. how about open your stand a little bit?
  22. yeah. even thought it's very forgiving, you still have to put a good swing to it. i meant forgiving as you can hit the all all over the club face and the ball will still go relatively straight if you make a good swing.
  23. they only come with graphite shafts. 3DX combo (red back) or 3DX RC comes with steel or graphite shaft. Personally, I like 3DX Pro. 3DX Square driver is very forgiving.
