  1. I have a tour edge 18 hybrid and a 16.5 4 wood. Its a pretty good combo witb the wood only used from the best lies.
  2. CMan great club. Super hard front nine but the back was just as fun. The wind was killer making a lot of holes longer then they said. Greens were lightning fairway were very fast. Immaculate condition. There was some alligators on the back that made it even cooler.,overall great experience great layout but very difficult. I shot a 92 15 over front 5 ober back.,had a lot of fun sorry for typos im on my phone
  3. Vokeys r slightly rounded. A great wedge highly reccomend them.
  4. Pretty stoked about it got on for $60 only three weeks after the champions tour was here so the place should be prime. Looks like a grwat course. I want to play the tips but havent got my 3 wood yet so ill stick to mids which is 6600. Thats plenty long for almost everyone. Ill let you guys know what the course is like when i get back tomorrow still hoping to break 80 for the first time since getting back into the game.
  5. Curious of cost my vokeys are getting worn this sounds like a geeat op tion
  6. Srixon z star. Very durable long and soft. My wedges are old but ive never had one rip zstar.
  7. I say get both there is little to no benefit of hitting the 4 iron over the hybrid. Hybrid is longer softer and 10x's easier. Unless your playing in a hurricane cant see much reason to carry a 4 iron.
  8. Mccilroy absolutely blasts the ball he hit his 3 wood fourther then fowlers drive it was very impressive
  9. 3Alright decided on an ezoctics xcg3 3 hybrid. 19* fits in nice hopefully hit it good
  10. Hows the xcg 3?
  11. Which is easier to hit off the deck? Which is longer? I cant try them out so im buying sight unseen
  12. 1eally looking hard at the cobra pro cb forged irons seem like a perfect fit
  13. I have a 5 hybrid i got a while back with a regular flex and i cant even hit it without it ballooning it was perfect when i bought it but you will progress and get stronger
  14. I have no idea how old my driver is its a nike sumo sq2 5900 moi. I love it but feel like maybe a new one could help with consistency. I already hit it prety damn far. My irons are from 05 I treat them like shit though so im getting new ones and im gonna baby them. Ive always been a very budget golfer and very careful where i spend my money
  15. Cant afford the titleist to much $$$ for similar irons
  16. Ya i think its cuz stones arent popular. Really like those combo sets tho
  17. I got the nike everclear e11 awesome blade putter been rolling it better then ever
  18. Yeah just lost a set of j36 on ebay for 270 then saw a set of 33s go for 200 but to ugly for my taste.
  19. Yeah also looking at the combo sets for the 33s and 36s the 36s look so much nicer though
  20. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130681504378?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_949 I used to play a lot of golf and was around a 5 handicap. I havent played in a while and getting back into it. The clubs i have now are smt cb2's which are a muscle back design. Im worried the blades may be a little mch int he high irons like 7 and 8. My iron play is quite good I lose a lot of strokes right now from getting off the tee and iron aim. Im also looking at callaway x forged irons. My goal is to get to around scratch by next summer So i want something i can grow in to but not be so overwhelmed from the get go. What do yu think?
  21. driver 300 4 hyb-220 5 hyb-200 6 iron- 170 7 iron- 160 8-1ron 145 9 iron- 135 pw -120 54 105 60 95
  22. Mine has more damage then that and it still pumps it out with the best of them. Quit worrying and start playing. Only damage i hate is on the crown messing with my eyes.
  23. So I have an oppurtunity to buy the same clubs I have now for pretty cheap. An almost new set. I do ike these clubs and am already used to looking at them and hitting them. I hit them pretty good Im only replacing them because they are getting old and the grips are worn. For the price of grips this guys is offering me a full set. I play smt cb2 irons more of almost a cut muscled design. http://www.smtgolf.com/irons_303cb2.asp . The dillema I have is I have been looking at callaways pre owned website and see a lot of good stuff in the 200 range. http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/3398205/3398205,default,pd.html?cgid=clearance http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/3546069/3546069,default,pd.html?cgid=clearance http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/3515659/3515659,default,pd.html?cgid=clearance Most of these clubs are a few years old and was wondering if there even worth getting? I also like what I hear about mizuno and was thinking about maybe looking at those. Whatdo you guys think? The oter thing to not is my smts have a slightly higher offset then what the x forged has. I have no callaway specs but my smts have a li
  24. 2nd round of the year. Really struggling on the front nines. No driving range to warm up may be the culprit. 12 over frnt nine oday 3 over back 15 over front nine on tuesday 4 over back gotta get that front nine working like the back does haha Iron and driver contact is bad not hitting things dead on but green play was quite good
  25. http://www.smtgolf.com/irons_303cb2.asp I currently have a set and found a cheap set to replace my worn ones. Anyone else play these amazing irons?
