Smallville's point is valid but i think we need more clarification in what the OP is asking. Im asking the question that a tournement has the word classic in its name like it would have the word championship in it too. Like Mercedes-Benz Championship, FBR Open, or Bob Hope Chrystler Classic. What Smallville is answering is the classic tournements from years past, like Nickalus at the 86 masters would be considered a classic tournement. AVR2 could you plese specify what you meant in the OP.

I dont think there is set of standards its just the name of the tournement such as open, chamionship, ect.

DG Wedge Flex, ive used it in all my wedges have had no problem and see no reason to change.

Thats basically the same for me only there are three 4's that are drivable for me! I mostly get them on par 5's though because my distance really helps me get it up the hole, if only i could putt...

I loved having a match at my home course. I go to a private school about 30 minutes from my home so when i played at my home course i was so pumped. I absolutley ripped it up shooting 1 under, 29. My course is so easy because it is 6 par threes and 3 par fours(all of which are driveable) so when i heard that i was gunna play there i knew i was gunna go all out because i play there almost everyday anyway.

Had our first match today. We lost 249 to 243! I played okay but my putting was awful, 2 three putts with 17 overall. I had 9 par putts and only made 4 of them. Whats worse is that our 2 and 3 players were awful shooting 44 and 48 each, and we ended up taking the 44 too. We should have won, not a good way to start the season.

Im finally able to get a good pair of golf shoes from my golf team because they order custom and i can get shoes up to my size, 17. We get big discounts on Adidas shoes and i want to buy a really good pair, because it will be a pair that lasts a while for me, because i wont get another opportunity to get shoes in a while, i was wondering what shoes to get. I've narrowed it down to the Tour 360 3.0 and Tour 360 LTD. I was wondering if anyone has these shoes an can let me know what they are like so i know im making a good purchase.

Public Courses really need to start enforcing pace of play rules with more marshalls and course rangers. Pace of play rules are there for a reason, to make the round more enjoyable for all people on the course. If courses are going to let pace of play become a non-issue than more instances like what elivate described are going to become more common and that is only hurting courses and golf.

I do whatever i feel like doing at the time. When I play with my dad most of the time we take carts but when im with myself or friends i mostly walk.

So im assuming that your team all gets brand new Ogio Groms that you get to keep. Totally personalized with your name and scoring average stenciled in on them?

Its the shaft on the driver. It is probably a junior flex and now im guessing that your swing speed is up around 85-90 and that junior flex can't catch up and is lagging behind because it is too whippy. You could probably use a regular flex shaft now. Id say get a used older adult driver that will fit you better because it is not worth it to spend money on reshafting a junior club unless you are really in love with it.

For JV we had izzo bags which weren't nice. But for Varsity we get new Ping Hooffer Xtreme bags. School colors blue and gold and have Malden Catholic written down one side and have the MC logo on the ball pocket in the middle. Ill have pics up soon.

I have sz 17 feet and can never find anyshoes in my size let alone golf shoes. So with custom shoes like the ones we are buying come up in higher sizes so i can get shoes.

Nothing special or huge just a 32" Olevia LCD.

Just got my Varsity team package. I get 2 hats(home and away), 2 shirts(home and away), a towel, windbreaker, and a discount on shoes from Adidas. Im sooo happy about the last one because i can finally get quality golf shoes in my size. Adidas Tour 360 LTDs for $110 is amazing so im thinking of buying 2-3 pairs.

Another 6 over today so that puts me in Varsity for the season. I could have played better again but for now thats good because i can work my way up during the season.

1) I'd say that this person is around a 17-18 handicap. 2) For the the tee shot on the par three i think he pulled the ball to the left. For the second video i think that he pushed the ball to the right. For the 3rd shot i think that he hit a snap-hook to the left. 3) If i were to fix something about this golfer's swing it would be in his hips. When he swings he sways his hips which leads to inconsistency in accuracy and mishits that can go in both directions. When he sways and gets too far back he will not catch up to the ball and can push it to the right alot. He then tries to compensate for the pushes and shots to the right that he hits and pulls the ball which can lead to snap-hooks. I would keep his hips in a stationary position and not moving back and forth which will lead to straighter shots.

Not at most. At another school in my conference the cut for varsity is 10 over for 36 holes.
