  1. Not in my book. I had them, didn't like them,sold them and got fitted for Pings (S 58) and never looked back. doc
  2. Has anyone been to the Titleist site to see their new line of irons and Scotty Cameron putters? If you go to their web site, click on NEWS and I believe the second one down are the irons and the third one down are the putters. Great looking sticks. Rats, I just bought a new set of 695s MBs and now this! p.s. All iron models are offered in left hand version as well. doc
  3. I manage a walk only course and always tell slower groups to allow faster players to play through. I would have done just what you did however I would have finished the hole you picked up on. doc
  4. For me in 2008 it has to be tempo on the full swing, spend more time practicing the short game, and improving my putting. Managing a golf course helps me in the practice area, having parts of the course to myself after last tee times. Love that for practice shots from 100 yards and in. doc

  8. Well for me, Titleist blades works best. I have tried cavity backed irons and really didn't notice any change in my game. Do not want to pass up the feel of a blade. doc
  9. For me it's Titleist Spin Milled wedges though I do like Cleveland wedges as a close second. doc
  10. Don't rule out Srixon irons. They make some nice irons in a mid/low price range. You can find some great deals on new Srixon irons for under $400 on Ebay. Just a thought. doc

  14. For me it's the Pro V1. All things considered, I play this ball above all others. doc
  15. Must be 35 inches, look good to my eye, feel like it doesn't open or close when at address, and most importantly feel. These are my factors when buying a putter. I should know , I own ten putters, YIKES! doc

  18. Give a look at Titleist 695CB's for your long irons and Titleist 695mb's for your scoring irons. Great clubs doc
  19. I'm a school teacher during the day and manage a local public golf course evenings, weekends, and all summer long. dr. golf
