Just got back from myrtle and called for black.They say the course will be open every day till 11/15 but will be Aerated all over and be a MAJOR dissruption on both the greens and fairways.

The mrs and I were at last nights Yankee game and it very well may have been one of the best games I have ever seen.Granted there was a blown call by the ump but thats baseball.Minny had bases loaded no one out and Robertson got out of it A Rod earned his stripes and Tex woke up!!! WOW what a game.Best part was We were invited to sit with Minny's family seats and were on the arm

If you go to Fed ex location they should pack them or give the box relatively cheap.I use UPS because they pack the whole damn thing right there right in front of me.

If you don't mind my asking which Cally bag did you have thay you hated?And what was it you did not like about it?I ask because I am looking at a cally FT stand bag and it is 200.00 and I do not want to waste my cash if someone has legimate problems with it.Thanks

First things first.Chances are it wikk be the dreaded CPO{cart pathsonly}I do not think the greens will be "Shaggy" as you say because they can not afford to scalp them to get them back to where they are normally.I have played on some courses down south right after overseeding and all they asked was do not drive the rough stay in the fairway with the carts.Dop not project problems its your birthday and you will be playing golf,Is that so BAD?

I have a Cally #2 17 degree and it replaced my Titliest 18.5 5 wood I had forever.Much more versatile and off the tee much longer.

Have played Rivers Edge quite a few times but not since they put the new grass on the greens.They call it Paspalum and it is supposed to be sodium tollerant which is good for low water table and brackish water leakage.I will report.

Just finished up my itenarary for Myrtle.Fazio and Dye at barefoot--Caledonia and Tru Blue-and Heritage down south.Rivers Edge and carolina national up north.Throw in the Dunes and Thistle--Crow Creek-one of the Pearls nad it is 18 the first day we land and 36 a day for the next six or the Mrs gets tired which ever comes first.

I think the 2 most Personal clubs in your bag are Driver and Putter.You can match your set for most clubs but those 2 are really feel clubs.

I play out east on long Island real early like as soon as you can see and I get around in 2.5 hours and it is great.I mentally try to call my shots before I hit em and it is a great feeling to pull one off.I do not have to wait or have a 5 hour round and there is usually no wind up yet.It is really peacefull and I find it relaxing.

Years ago my son was in the navy in Sandiego and the Mrs and i payed 90.00 each to play Torrey south and a asst pro walked the first 4 holes with you.Well everyone is watching on the first the balcony is packed and I stripe my drive 280 dead in the middle,one of those just bend down get your tee and leave shots.Well the Mrs hits it well also so off we go and the Asst pro starts to tell us about the flora and Fauna on the course.Well ask him what about my swing or my wifes and he says :I am not here for that,I only tell you about course history'.Well now I am pissed as I fell I spent 90.00 to listen to this guy tell me what kind of tree I might hit my ball into so I tell him to take a walk and we will not be needing him.My wife hits her second shot onto the green and Iam really heated from this guy and proceed to skull my 9 iron over the gree and into oblivion.Nice course bad day---Thats Golf

Bethpage is the biggest place in america for people picking up your ball.I put FLAP in bright blue sharpie on all my Cally balls and I still see people playing them and they think nothing of it.Some of the oldtimers think its easter and they are easter eggs.
