  1. shots on command. cool to watch when they show the pro's hit shots.
  2. look at an adjustable driver- most are that way now of course. 10.5 loft good to start with - since the new drivers are lower spinning machines these days.. may need an upgraded shaft - something a touch lower torque than the stock offerings.. 3.9* for example.. for control purposes.. good options> jetspeed by taylor made, ping G20, callaway x2hot coming out. good forgiveness in these models and shaft upgrades nice also.. flex: regular and look at getting the driver to play at 45'' length. again a good control length and plenty of distance still. loft: 10.5 for forgiveness and control.. spin will be fine as - it helps with lower swing speeds - to get the max launch.. go test drive a few..
  3. look at a set or half set and add on as the game progresses. maybe not get a driver right off the bat. 4wd, #4 hybrid and 5-pw,sw ,putter and that is it to start with.. look at adams for a good set and price.. solid clubs and as always look at getting a tune up from a pga pro to help the new process..
  4. thumbs up.. nice and easy to hit. possible shaft change.. unless you get the TP version..
  5. go all ping brother... very very easy to hit.. 2nd choice R7's..
  6. strong lofted irons... get the three pack-- you may need to tweak the 52 a tad but see how they play out. say 54 and than a 58.. get'em and work themout and see how you hit them. hybrids.. get a22* 1st.. see the distance hit and go from there. good advise- look at clubs one year old and great deals run amuck..
  7. he played strong-- had a few hicups at the end but - came up with a dagger at the end... good golf to watch today..
  8. good to see the old boy back.....
  9. Liquid courage' on the 19th i have mine.. but i do play with a guy who will pop one in the car to the tee time.. nerves-jitters > call it what you will -- that is why brother...
  10. you need a taper tip shaft. .355 tip diameter.. if you want the same feel as you have now- use a dynamic gold r300 and order the 8 iron shaft to put in. low cost fix.. any custom shop can do it for under $40
  11. nope- you will just have to swing about 80%.. full amped up swing and you may have control issues..
  12. because he has won the right to... easy... let him play on!!
  13. round.. ribbed grips seem to me to be a cruch. now i have found some grips with a very slight rib in them.. ex: winn pci hybrid.. may just be were they stich the backing but it is nice.. but grips of choice right now>> MCC cords and iomic sticky's.
  14. like it.. great job i think... if you have HD**
  15. yes.. i have a pair of new shoes waitingout the embargo.. bought a pair if titanium spikes.. never need to change them... the winter before the big change.. or so - we all thought - that will never happen.. honestly.. no- better on the body using and course using the pink champ spikes..
  16. ones that don't leak!!!! oakley's , adidas 360, some good ones.. to look at..
  17. the v.2 is a solid shaft.. the lower torgue should'nt scare you - it may help you handle the off center hits better.. the shaft has a smooth feel - due to it's softer middle and end section. post up after you had had a cjacne to hit it..
  18. i mentioned dropping a flex for the main reason that many people go too much when getting rifles and expecially project x. see your point and concern.. just with the PX's playing firmer/stiffer already a step down may be an easier swing. all in all - good info on the subject...
  19. best to drop a flex and look at the high launch shafts if they are still available in the PX shaft line. other good options >> DG SL high launch, but droppping a flex is a great start- but the the PX flighted really only help the long irons get better launch. after the 5 iron they are really a stock set of PX's.
  20. 1/4 short. may not even be that bad to play them. but to make it a quick turn around- have them extend them. the nicks on the clubs- bring to their attention when you send them back for the extensions. see what happens- all you can do.
  21. time will tell of course. last year was a turning period for her. started to be a closer. "of all time" time will tell... but she sure does have the TW focus and stare.
  22. 160 and in - i expect to dancing so to speak.
  23. ACC - strong year in - year out.
  24. flat swing- need 10-12 driver loft. but now with the high moi drivers -easier to play a lower 9.5 and get what is needed.. ex: D2, 5900, BUL, ping G10.. a few good examples..
  25. PING-G10, very nice...
