In my opinion it is common courtesy to let a faster group play through, whether they have asked to play through or not. I have too gotten so irritated at this before that I just hit into them until they get the hint (not recommended and not the right thing to do). However, I do like the idea of skipping a few holes ahead and returning to complete your round.
I really like this comment cause I just played in a scramble this weekend and the top 3 teams finished with 49, 50 and 51!! Now for all wondering; yes, this is for a full 18 hole round. I personally don't see how this is possible unless all four golfer are pros but that is just my two cents and felt like venting a little. This course was also Red Rock which happens to be the #1 ranked course in South Dakota with many blind shots and elevations changes. Not an easy course for the average golfer.
I have recently gotten back into the swing of things and started playing more and more golf. I used to play about 3 times a week in high school and played on my school team. I then joined the military and the golfing pretting much stopped. So, the question is....I have a Callaway Diablo Octane driver and have had my eye on the new Cleveland Classic driver. I have always been a fan of Cleveland irons but don't know much about their drivers. I also understand that my current driver is not very old and don't know if I would benefit from spending the additional $250-300 for a new one. Thanks!
I have always been a big fan of cleveland irons. I have never had much experience with their woods or drivers but love the look and feel of their irons. Good luck with your new purchase!
I am also new and golf regularly with Motown88. Although it is doubtful he will be able to help anyone, we are both excited to get back into the game of golf and learn whatever we can from the forum!
