  1. Thanks for that vid^. Helpful. I had actually planned on putting something under my left foot similar to the video next time I want to the range. I know when I'm swinging best I can really feel the pressure in that left thigh, and when I'm not I don't feel as connected to the ground and I straighten it up sooner. Also here is that same swing of mine again in full speed just for reference: http://youtu.be/9K-kE6I8Xos

  3. Don't worry it will be gone tomorrow.
  4. Rolling through a stop sign is illegal but you probably did that on the way to the course.
  5. It all depends on how busy they are. If it won't slow play and it isn't back to back tee times then courses usually don't care. I hate when they try to stick you with people though. Somtimes I like to chip around or putt a little after each hole, so when they stick you with people they're basically just making you go play normal golf and not get any practice in.
  6. I know I'm late, but the key is fairways and greens.
  7. Was he using a driver? If so it's not hard to get it 250.
  8. I would say that there are a lot of normal Tournys that are more difficult than some majors.
  9. Don't think we need to protect kids from seeing a guy smoke a cigar... Besides, I doubt Jimenez is the guy most of the kids are idolizing.
  10. So we all see the good players around our local clubs. And when you play with them it seems like they are infallable. Always sticking it pretty close, long drives down the fairways, and scrambling more times than not. So how can it get much better than hitting fairways and greens? What makes the pros on that much higher a level?
  11. lol, thanks. I just can't seem to be able to stay down and in the shot.
  12. I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years My current handicap index or average score is: 3 My typical ball flight is: Straight or slight draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Straight ball that fades too much. Sort of a push fade. I have really been struggling with my driver lately. I'm losing a lot of power somewhere and they are all falling off right of my line. Sometimes a lot more than others. I am trying to draw it, and usually hit a straight or slightly drawn ball when I'm driving well. I just don't know where it's going right now. I suggest increasing resolution and maximizing the video size.. These aren't all the same swing but I took them at the same time so they are more or less the same problem. Here is a video of one of my iron swings for comparison...
  13. So I know everyone has off days and on days. But one thing the pros seem to be good at is being able to perform relatively the same swing from day to day. For example the other day I played awful and didn't par many holes, was ready to quit. Then the next day I shoot 78(about average for me), and then played another 9 and was 2 under with only 1 bogey on the first hole. Anyone here have any tips or ways that you are able to do the same thing every day?
  14. Rory looks like Gollum.
  15. Heres another face on:
  16. I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years My current handicap index or average score is:6 My typical ball flight is: baby draw Just want to see what you guys think of this. What You see wrong, and possible why I might not be able to hit a draw at all right now.
  17. What the poster said about keeping it low on the takeaway is really the best way. Watch when tiger releases the ball, look at how the club swings around at about knee height and comes in really shallow, instead of at an almost 45* angle like a plane crashing into the ground. Think airplane landing rather than airplane crashing.
  18. I can't remember what the last day I didn't play was. Probably a rainy day.
  19. So, for me, there's usually always a guy in the group that is not so great. So it seems like there is at least 1 shot per hole where he hits a terrible shot and gets mad. And there is usually an awkward silence after that and it can weird. What do you guys say or do to kind of break the tension without making it too obvious that your just saying something because they hit a bad shot?

    Going Pro

I don't get when people say 'your chances are so and so'. If you're good enough you can't be ignored.
  21. Stretch I appreciate your thoughts and advice you gave. I've been trying some of what your saying but I'm realizing that its gonna take some exaggerating of the squat move to really engrain it. I was hitting about as good as I can today so I figure this is a good video to analyze for improvement. I notice that I'm still standing a lot at impace. Just wanted to add these two 5 iron swings: Both were dead straight, they were possible slight draws but the wind was left to right pretty hard making them straight.
  22. I think if you guys were Tiger the past 10 years you might understand his attitude. Remember he used to be much friendlier in the early 2000s.
  23. I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years My current handicap index or average score is: 5 handicap, avg score 75-81 My typical ball flight is: Baby draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Balooning fade or a pull. Hey guys, I usually hit a baby draw but lately I have literally not been able to hit a draw no matter how hard I try. It feels like I'm coming from the inside but idk. Any insight would be awesome.
