  1. Cool, I got it for £30 from a place in the UK called sportshq which is an online retailer http://www.thesportshq.com/nike-golf...r-wedges1.aspx ...it was a one day only deal, I thought what the hell as I was looking for a 58 or a 60. How do you like the CCI's? I have them in my second set, only got them like 3 weeks ago and I am so impressed by them. Got them for £220. Think they will be making the jump.
  2. now there is a good set of clubs for you buddy.
  3. Just picked up one of the steel one's for £30 to keep in my second set. 58 loft. What's the general opinion. I'm usually a vokey or taylor made wedge man but couldn't turn that price down
  4. What model are you looking at buddy?
  5. I have had the retro for over a year and I think it's the best putter I have ever had and also the best on the market. The weight of the club is perfect imo. Maybe not ideal if you want alot of assistance with allignment but otherwise it's great. The weight really helps with the stroke.

  7. Kaymer is the don on the European Tour, Rory does look good though as does Oliver Fisher. I wonder how Chris Woods will get on. I expect Kaymer to be the one to push for the top spot very soon. Once Oliver Wilson gets the first win he will be very hard to beat I know he is late 20's but still a relatively new name, and Ross Fisher will get better and better.
  8. He was hitting some nice hybrids off the tee.
  9. I'll sell you a Superquad in almost perfect condition
  10. Is the DX2 the Wilson ball that people rave about? My girl just gave me 24....these will be getting used for the next few weeks. A good winter ball?
  11. http://thesandtrap.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18949 some good advice in there my man
  12. i like the idea but just can't get over how plastic this club looks.
  13. I don't agree with that, his form in the Fed Ex play-off's was great and since then in the HSBC, Valderama and his own tournament been incredible. It was only the Ryder Cup he was poor.
  14. he's pretty good, could do with standing up a little in his swing though.
  15. What are the TM Burner balls like?
  16. yeah fair play but the bad publicity would have killed them. A wine retailer did this a few Christmases ago for employee's only in the UK but leaked it and their sales boomed.
  17. Distance I stand from the ball, I think I've been standing a little close this season.
  18. If anything it could be a new 3 wood for my second set of clubs I keep in the weekend house.
  19. Cheers guys a softer compression sounds nice, nothing worse than thinning a hard golf ball in the winter with cold hands. My range switches to using Callaway Warbirds at this time of year, nice for bashing drives but don't fancy them for a round.
  20. I'd love to be able to trust e-bay I would but I'd hate to get a fake.
  21. What do you all like to use in the winter, if you change at all? I loved the Nike Ignite ball last season but not really seen them this year so far, the Juice was pretty good also.
  22. Love the Rossa Daytona in the lovely finish. Got an Imola 8 Rossa for £40 last week, brand new.
  23. Played in a few 3 Clubs and a Putter Stablefords. Best score is 38 points. 5 wood, 7 iron, GW and Putter.
  24. Just got a set of CCI Cast 4-PW for £200. Brand new, nice to keep in the back of the car for a second set. I'm hitting them awesome as well may get promoted to my first set very soon. Think they are so cheap as they've been replaced by the Victory Red cavity. Someone told me Immelman used them in the Masters.
  25. I met him when he was playing the Old Course a few years back and he was an absolute gentleman, was using a mixture of Nike and Titleist clubs that day though. I think what ever he does is positive as I'd rather see him introduce a few people to golf than just be another celebrity glamorising drugs or violence.
