  1. I don't think any round of golf is ever worth $500. Ever. But that's coming from a person who won't drop $15 on a shirt, either.
  2. Ill do the same thing, but with the toe of the putter. Nice the be able to change how far I want to carry it, but I suppose you can do that with the back of a putter too.
  3. Most underrated? RIFE. I would trade my Scotty for the 2-Bar mallet if I wasn't so cheap. Most overrated, for me, are the Vokey wedges. I get no feel off of them.
  4. It's hopefully going to be a ticket to college The top guy on my team is getting a full ride, and in four years, I hope to be in his spot. Would be really nice not to have to pay the ridiculous amount of money tuition is.
  5. No one wants to read about Brad Adamonis or some other nobody. Everyone wants to read about Tiger. So say that they both do something like this, only Tiger's will get coverage.
  6. One kid at my school has the name, but I see what you're getting at. I would have to say Ali. Don't hear anything about Pele, here.
  7. I cant do it because my hand bumps my left thigh. I realize my putting stance is not in any way fundamentally correct, but it works well for me.
  8. Because that would upset the balance of the universe.
  9. I see where a lot of people are arguing against the use of GPS from, how finding a yardage is part of the game, but I have to disagree. I want to improve. Taking guesswork out of distance = easy improvement. Why add another difficult element to an already difficult game? Neither do I believe the ability to guess an exact yardage separate a player from his competition, his playing abilities should do that. And to it being against how the founders of the game wanted the game to be played, they didn't have GPS back then. The (most likely) didn't know it would ever come, there would ever be satellites in the sky that could pinpoint exact distance in seconds. They might have embraced that idea, who knows?
  10. The announcers. I can't even watch PGA golf with the Golf Channel announcers. They're all too "nice", and sound like they're listening to music, or doing something else while they broadcast, almost a lack of caring in their voices.
  11. Depends on the range. I just played a course that had NXT Tour's as their range balls, but my home course has cheap balls that go 70% of actual distance.
  12. Saw Tiger during either a practice round, or on Thursday , I'm not sure which, and he was block out by a tree. Hit the ball about 3 feet off the ground for 120 yards, then it shot straight up, and landed about 20 feet away from the pin, 160 yards away. every one was cheering, until it went straight up. We just all got confused and looked at each other, not knowing how in the world he did that.
  13. I've been working on a swing change for 2 months, and it's only starting to come around. I haven't gotten any range time, though. 105 plus humidity is enough to keep me inside.
  14. I've seen him on the range. The swing is so smooth. If he could just take his range swing to the course he would never have a problem. But that goes for just about everyone...
