  1. If you will read my pervious point, you will clearly see that I was not insulting you. I said "I'm not attacking your ability," but just making a point. This is my entire point. Just hit a 3 wood, the little extra distance gained in a driver off the deck is not worth the inconsistency.
  2. So you're more accurate with a drive of the deck, and a short iron than two long irons? Maybe you are better than most pros, and can accurately hit a driver off the deck, or you need to work on your long irons. I don't know, how accurate you are with a driver off the deck, but 99% of good players would not do it. I'm not attacking your ability, but driver off the deck is a bad choice for ALL people.
  3. A chip is more accurate than a chip, but we were discussing driver off the deck. To reach a green 350+ yards away. It is more "accurate" or consistent to hit a long iron or wood plus a wedge, than to hit a driver of deck plus a chip. You will hit the green more consistently if you hit a iron plus wedge. Anyways a driver off the deck is not going to get you to a green 350 yards away. For c, if you are 400 yards away from a par five green, a driver plus chip will not get it done either. There is no doubt that a driver off the deck is not a wise choice, although is may be a fun challenge to go for it.
  4. The Avs should have never been swept with the amount of talent they had. I could do a better job coaching then Joe Quenneville. True they were injury plagued, but they have at least skated on par with the Red Wings. At least we got swept by the future Stanley Cup Champions of '08.
  5. I don't see the point. Especially with a 400cc+ driver. Six iron plus wedge is better than a Driver off the deck, and a chip.
  6. I thought you knew they were fake. Just read the terrible English, "Happy every day to you !" They do not even look like real X-20's, close but no cigar.
  7. Only one way to find out. Just use Paypal, and you should not have any problems.
  8. I hit 54% of my fairways, and 72% greens last rounds. My iron play is usually really good, but I did not feel confident over any putt.
  9. Twenty-Eight people hit their 5i 200 yards. Hmm?
  10. Not exactly. Price is contingent on supply, but that is not why a SC cost more than an Anser. If there will equal Ansers produced to SC produced, the SC would still cost more, so quantity is not the factor of value in this situation, it is the name.
  11. The value is in the name, not the quantity produced.
  12. Actually, they are more expensive because all others are economically inferior. Is a Mercedes really $20,000 nicer than a loaded Honda Accord, or is it just the name? Is a SC really $160 dollars better than a Ping Anser, or is it just the name?
  13. The '08 Callaway Warbird is the perfect hybrid bag. Has everything you're looking for, excellent club organization, and it is easy to carry. It is built a little on the bigger side, and has many adaptations to ride better. Do not get it if you walk a lot, and need a light bag.
  14. Wonder if Lefty has an opinion about it? I agree, it is all just brilliant marketing. Although that does not take away from the fact that it is a nice product, and can have alternative value.
  15. I want the Ping Redwood, but I know that it will putt exactly like my current Anser. With practice, I could probably putt just as good with a sledge hammer.
  16. Test show that it is a better ball.
  17. I need to get a 2 hybrid, but I am undecided on which one. I currently hit a 2 iron, and the difference between the two is huge. They're a great substitute for an iron, or wood.
  18. It is because they can't.
  19. Its a sad day when a society uses a to represent emotion in writing. One should be able to determine humor in writing, as opposed to a snide comment.
  20. Now he is 5 under. Sergio is the man.
  21. Arg! I can not stand it when people put their clubs in the wrong spot. Like when a person puts their driver in their putter slot. Maybe I am completely over-thinking it, but what does OEM stand for?
  22. This is the reason that I always walk, no matter what.
  23. My 3 wood off a tee is essentially a driver. It goes maybe 10 yards shorter, if that. The only reason I use a driver, is that it is way more forgiving on miss hits. This allows me to swing a lot faster without the worry of completely messing it up.
  24. I have OCD, kinda, so I hate when people do not have matching woods. As far as playability goes, it doesn't matter at all.
